Welcome to Sanity Island!
You mean the James Bond one? :)
OK, after viewing the photos ohio posted at #174, I definitely need another fan!!
What if he wins the nomination...I really don't want to vote for this man....but if he's up against the beast I'll have no other choice...There is no way I can vote for Rudy with his stance on abortion....
Those stupid idiots in the congress and the stupid liberals and thios stupid PC and the so called Republicans and talking heads who dictate who and what we should like or supporrt.
Yep. That's what I felt like yesterday.
But I feel better today. Hang in there.
***Fred, fred is that you?***
I can't see myself for all this junk, Elizabeth.

All this is so upsetting

I hate to say this, but McCain simply doesn't look well . . . I really wonder whether or not he will even be healthy enough for a presidential run!
Rudy would be tough on terrorism, but terrible on the social issues, e.g., abortion/embryonic stem cells, homosexual 'rights', affirmative action, and so on.
Fortunately, we don't need to concern ourselves with 2008 yet, it's 2006 we need to worry about!
No I have not
That is what we need here. And ballot boxes should not be opened until the polls close. To get a fair and honest election the media must not try to influence voters during the voting by announcing that one or the party is ahead. In our 2000 election in Florida, some voters in the western part of the state which is in a different time zone were discouraged from voting because it was announced that Gore had won so they assumed it was no use voting.
I am in favor of having polls open for 48 hours or even 72 hours and opening and closing at the same time all over the world. And after the polls close open the ballot boxes and begin counting.
It has something I wanted you to post here.
I think the President really plans to stay neutral on this one. At least through the primaries. After the primaries, I would assume he would support whoever gets the nomination. And if McCain is up against Hillary...I would vote for McCain. Even though I don't like him.
Take a look at this face. A good, hard look at it.
Do you see contentment there? Do you see complete peace? Think about this man, and his deep faith, and his total serenity about the evil things that are said and done about and toward him.
And then pray for him, and thank God for him. It really helps when you're upset. (I know this for a fact!)
May God continue to blanket His servant, George W. Bush with complete peace!
Aha! I found one! :)
