What if he wins the nomination...I really don't want to vote for this man....but if he's up against the beast I'll have no other choice...There is no way I can vote for Rudy with his stance on abortion....

This is a pic that shows the character of our President. McCain had just turned on him on an issue before this was taken. Somewhere, deep down inside, McCain knows the mettle of George W. Bush. I'm glad he's standing up for him now.

I hate to say this, but McCain simply doesn't look well . . . I really wonder whether or not he will even be healthy enough for a presidential run!

Rudy would be tough on terrorism, but terrible on the social issues, e.g., abortion/embryonic stem cells, homosexual 'rights', affirmative action, and so on.

Fortunately, we don't need to concern ourselves with 2008 yet, it's 2006 we need to worry about!

I understand to some extent where you come from but I suppose political and moral issues are somewhat more defined in the Britain.

I think many Americans would find it difficult to vote for anyone because I cannot think of one politician who would have as pro life views as many do in America. The most we can get from our new party leader is that he would like to see the time limit of 24 weeks reduced.

My stance is that personally I do not agree with abortion, I would not condemn anyone for having one as I realise that in most cases they feel they no other choice.

If some asked my opinion I would try to dissuade them and I have found talking to most women they favour abortion only up to about 12 weeks which my leader has said no way would he advocate it being that low.

I must admit I do not even know what my local MPs views are somehow to me I am more interested in getting him elected to add one more Conservative MP to the Parliamentary number. The abortion issue I know where I stand and that to me rightly or wrongly does not affect my political allegiance. I understand though it is somewhat different in America.
