HeHe,

SJackson, looks like we frequent a lot of the same sites :)

Have you ever read the death threats from the animal worshipers on the People Easting Tasty Animals website? Hilarious.

PETA took People Eating Tasty Animals to court over the web site name several years ago.

"No I'm not a member of PETA but I don't think they are a terrorist organization."

Then you are NOT paying attention, my FRiend.

"Description: Animal rights group repeatedly using civil disobedience contrary to IRS Revenue Ruling 75-384 and funding eco-terrorists directly by contribution (See PETA's 2001 Form 990 tax return, Page 28, for listing of direct donation to North American Earth Liberation Front, an FBI-declared domestic terrorist organization) or indirectly by paying lawyers for suspects in animal rights crime. Uses unlawful means to persuade others to adopt vegetarian diet and to cease all use of animals.

PETA was involved with arsonist Rodney Coronado of the Animal Liberation Front, who torched a Michigan State University animal research laboratory. Coronado sent PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk two packages, one before the arson, one after the arson. When police searched the premises where Coronado sent the packages, they found false identification for Coronado and for PETA co-founder Alex Pacheco, to be used as part of a burglary to release captive animals, suggesting close relations between PETA leaders and ALF crimes."

Read a little, learn a lot.

FWIW, PETA has released mink from commercial farms, rats from the lab rat farm and calves from a veal/dairy operation in my area, alone. The majority of those animals died horrible deaths from starvation and being eaten by other animals and being run over in the road. Gee. That's HUMANE. Not.

PETA and their minion groups destroy the PRIVATE PROPERTY of others and rob them of their livelihood. To me, that qualifies as a terrorist organization. The mink farmers in my area lost over $300,000.00 worth of mink in one night alone. Could you afford a hit like that to your business? I couldn't.

What kind of business are you in? Imagine someone coming and burning down your accounting office, or machine shop or candy store or daycare center or horse stable or computer repair shop in the night because they didn't like what you did for a living. Would you, or would you not feel "terrorized?"

Does that help give you some perspective? Hope so. :)

"PETA has also attracted support from numerous celebrities over the years. These include such notables as Joaquin Phoenix; Charlize Theron; Anna Nicole Smith; Pink; Moby; Dennis Rodman; Martina Navratilova; Sean Astin; Paul McCartney; Christy Turlington; Chrissie Hynde; Michael Stipe; Belinda Carlisle; Alicia Silverstone; Lorenzo Lamas; Howard Jones; the Indigo Girls; Good Charlotte; Alec Baldwin; and Bill Maher."

Oh, and add Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton to the list of PETA spokesidiots.

I love bluegrass music, some country, and used to like Emmylou, but no more. Apparently she doesn't know who her fans are.

I'm no lawyer, but the documents the FBI has handed over are heavily redacted. That probably let's the FBI pursue the case w/o concern of compromise.

The AnimalScam.com website has the redacted pages, there's much more not there than there.Looks like the FBI is very serious about this,IMO.They're definitely pulling the ACLU's chain.

I think the ACLU has the rest of the docs. But I like your thoughts on this!

Thanks.

I've been wanting to fire up the firepit and cook, but it's been too windy here. Hopefully the wind will not be up tomorrow and I can cook an animal to celebrate the ocassion.

Boy, I'm ready to hit the bed. I'm so tired I can hardly type.

Thanks everyone for the pings. As usual, Diana in Wisconsin's characteristic way of making a point gives me a good laugh. If you didn't read her above post yank, you should. She's a riot!!!!!

Thanks for being open to learning the truth behind PETA. I've found that Freepers are the best resource for pointing another in the right direction on many an issue. :)

No problem. There's a lot of nice folks, people who love animals, that think these animal rights groups are doing good things.

The fact is, PETA, the Humane Society of the U.S., and dozens more AR groups raise millions on behalf of animals, and they don't spay, neuter, house, or feed any animals. They spend all these millions on overinflated salaries, and to end hunting, fishing, eating meat, wearing fur, and most of all, animal research (80 percent of the animals used for medical research are mice).

If all these would just give a small fraction of the money they raise, there wouldn't be a need for local shelters to have to euthanize millions of domestic animals annually.

Unfortanetly, many unsuspecting people send money to these groups, especially the HSUS, thinking they are helping animals, money that should be going to local shelters (which receive no money from these AR groups). These local shelters are struggling for funds and it's a travesty.

Obviously, PETA is involved in supporting domestic terrorism. There is also evidence available to prove many of the leaders of the HSUS are also, or have been at some time, PETA members/leaders.

I have been tracking these groups for many years and can back up all of my comments with proof.

No I'm not a member of PETA but I don't think they are a terrorist organization.

And that is why we have the FBI. They at least understand the direct link between funding of terror acts, and the direct action of commiting terror acts.

Let the G-men do their job, unless that is you don't think tree-spikings, mail-bombings, car-bombings, vandalism, etc warrant any attention.

These deadly acts have hampered the timber industry for years and only within the last few months have the charges of terrorism started to fall on the heads of these terrorists.
