Since the New York Times and Wall Street Journal broke the news about the admission of Taliban official Sayeed Rahmatullah Hashemi to a special student program at Yale, we’ve received numerous emails from outraged Yale Alumni. One email stood out from the rest — "I won’t give Yale one red cent this year, but maybe I will give them a red fingernail instead!"

She was referring to the Taliban’s policy of pulling the fingernails off of Afghani women who dared to wear fingernail polish. Some of these women even had their thumbs sliced off as punishment. To date, Mr. Rahmatullah has not apologized or taken responsibility for his support of this brutal regime, though he told the Times he wished he’d been "a little bit softer" in his advocacy...

Read this article...as it outlines a very practical way in which we as concerned citizens can respond to the outrage that's occurring at Yale. It's a short article, that lays out what people can do to illuminate not only the hypocrisy of Yale's administration, but also to demonstrate that the American people will not tolerate it. This is grassroots politics in action...Read! Act!

There's a statue towards one end of the freshman quad at Yale that has always impressed me:
a statue of Nathan Hale, Yale alumnus.

Nathan Hale would be turning in his grave...

While this thug is getting his Masters there are upstanding American citizens (like me) who can't get in to grad school. :(

I've been wondering where the feminazis have been. They have a cow about Larry Summers' remarks, but let this go without a peep?

Not to mention the Taliban beheading teachers of young girls, keeping young girls locked away under fear of death.

cause they'd get KILLED if they criticized a Muslim... conservatives follow the rule of law.

same reason the libs won't join in the war on terror... they are chicken-sh#t. They might have to actually back up what they say and would rather sit in a circle and play with themselves than actually DO something.

It's easier to critique than to DO.

I know. It's no wonder they're losing credibility. This kind of hypocrisy is impossible to ignore.

And many more who cannot afford grad school.

This animal had only a 4th. grade education and a GED.

Does anyone believe for a moment that your everyday grade school dropout with a GED could get into Yale or any other 'elite' university without the distinction of being an enemy of society.

It's a wonder Yale didn't offer Tookie Williams an online degree.

I disagree. It's more like the enemy of their enemy is their friend. The enemy 1# for feminists is the conservative white male.

the reporter that Hannity interviewed about this the other day said there might be signs of 'corruption' in the State Department because this guy was even given a visa to get into the US.

I hope that is investigated.
