The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us this week as we welcome Cindy Sheehan and Medea Benjamin back to our nation's capital.
Fresh from their excellent New York adventure, the dynamic duo of treason are bringing their roadshow to Washington, D.C. for media stunts and meetings with the Treason Caucus in Congress.
We're posting their publicly announced schedule so you'll be able to make your plans accordingly. As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Peace group hosts March 9 discussion
ARNOLD, Maryland -- Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of Codepink, a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement, will lead an upcoming discussion called "Stop the Next War Now: Effective Responses to Violence and Terrorism."
The talk will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 9 at the Pascal Center for the Performing Arts at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway.
Ms. Benjamin will be joined by a woman from Iraq who will talk about her experiences and the efforts of Iraqi women to achieve peace in that country.
Ms. Benjamin is also the co-founder of Global Exchange, an international human rights organization that addresses issues of globalization. The former economics and nutritionist with the United Nations and the World Health Organization is the author or editor of eight books.
Her talk is part of the college's Women's Month celebration. The talk is free and open to the public.
All hands on Deck!
Sheehan has had her 15 minutes and now has become a professional has-been. The best way to anger this ignorant and foul-mouthed woman is to ignore her.
Argh! Wouldn't you know that Wed. is the only day I'm NOT in the city?
I'm at the WH every day! Argh! (I'm very frustrated)
I'm here in DC until the 19th. I brought my bullhorn, my patriot truth missile (a portable DVD player with a specially made DVD that shows what real torture is and also has a number of patriotic, pro-troops videos which can be connected to the bullhorn) and I brought my desire to make Cindy Sheehan and other useful idiots like her live's hell. However, I'm only available in the evenings and I need some details as to where were going, where to be, when, who else may be coming, what to bring, what to do, what to expect, etc.
They're not giving up, so we're not giving up.
Argh! But, can you stick around for tomorrow evening's event?
Now is the time for all good men and women
to come to the aid of our country
and show support for our service men and women.
You do not have to be in DC to show support for the Troops.
Visit your local military base today and at least once a week.
Or a military or veteran hospital.
If you can't do that then send an e-mail or package
to our troops for morale support.

We need coast to coast support for the troops, now, more than ever.
I can probably be at the White House on Wednesday -- any idea how long their march will take and the approximate time they may be arriving at the White House? I can go during lunch.
Did Medea get arrested today with Cindy Sheehan?
Look just below these words for Anne Arundel Community College...
...right about here vvv
Annapolis area and Eastern Shore Freepers, here's your Freep!
Argh! Argh! Pirate bump here
pcottraux aint the only one what thinks you're special! ;~)
Can't get there Thursday but be assured that when the Litany is prayed at Vespers our troops are firmly in mind when these petitions are reached:
"For our public servants, for the government and those who protect us, that they may be upheld and strengthened in every good deed, let us pray to the Lord, Lord, have mercy.
For those who work to bring peace, justice, safety and health in this and in every place, let us pray to the Lord, Lord, have mercy."
Shouldn't these "churches" be losing their tax exempt status? I thought there were rules.
I wish.....God Speed and Good Hunting!!!
Leo
Well THANK GOD the DC FReepers haven't.

(You are an inspiration, with your packing list : )
I can not object strongly enough to the labeling of these women as "Gold Star" Moms. Gold Star Mothers is an organization of ladies who love their country and who honor the sacrifice of their loved ones for the preservation of freedom.
People who are ashamed of their country, even hate their country, and who are ashamed of the cause for which their family members sacrificed all, are the antithesis of Gold Star Mothers. They are deluded souls, all.
