FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine; Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.; retired Gen. Wesley Clark; comedian Stephen Colbert.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Gen. James Jones, NATO supreme Allied commander; Iraqi Parliament member Adnan Pachachi.
I think the most telling statement from today's Fox News Sunday, was from Kristol. He stated, and I'm paraphrasing here, that the democrats don't need to have any policy now...the republicans are turning on the President, and people like Duncan Hunter are hurting the president more than the democrats. He said the democrats should just shut up and let the Duncan Hunter's of the world do the talking and they will hurt the republican chances of winning all by themselves. He is spot on with his comments -- these republicans who are speaking out against the President, with some of their rhetoric, are only hurting the republican party, not helping it.
For the most part the media has ignored him. He may have gotten press attention in the various states tho, just not nationally.
Uh, duh. Am I supposed to now GIVE credit cards and cars to people who have not been financially responsible or continue to make horrendous life choices? Sure, let me just bend over.
we aren't all as rich as you are Edwards. I never did get to figure out how to "channel" dead babies in a courtroom.
I am afraid William F Buckley has spent two many years in two many Pubs, and the brain cells can handle drink in moderation, but he was moderately drinking for the equivalent of three people. He has broken with Conservatives on a few issues, one important one being marijuana use and legalization. I remember a long time ago when I could understand what he was saying even with his upper crust Cambridge type accent. I used to respect him,but in a way he has gone downhill like Goldwater did age and lifestyle take their toll on your thinking and reasoning ability. It is really sad that he even gave up his Boat because of age. He really needs to give up Opinion/Editorials and get back to the Boat, he is less dangerous skippering his Boat that trying to weave his way through Opinion Pieces that make him look old and foolishly pessimistic. Sad to say it, but he has long since "jumped the shark".
At the end of the show when Chris asks the panel questions and their opinions
It totally threw me off guard .. LOL
I think he's running for VP again, don't you?
Quagmire has given way to Civil War. The media is just so transparent.
So naturally, Timmy waives him around as an example of how even conservatives have turned against the war.
OK. Now I remember! He was the soldier in the Village People, wasn't he?
THis makes me sick. But, in a way Ive done the same thing. Over the ports, the immigration, his lack of PR. How do we get The POTUS attention. HOW?
Much posturing, with little substance.
Oh, OK. FNS is an hour later here. General Pace talking now. I'll shut up and enjoy it (I hope).
LOL! I think the man is dillusional....in his own mind he is the smartest man in the world and already rules it....
he is so stinking mad that none of us have realized it yet...
LOL!
FoxNews
Turn of events: UNC student (Middle Eastern) who drove SUV through crowd of students probably acted intentionally [but no sign of terrorism, of course].
That cover story on the Gay Magazine is why W. Clark dropped like a rock in the competition for the Presidential Primary sweepstakes. It did not help when he was right out of the box yelling for his Secretary when he met the News Media. It looked so un-cool,but he recovered from that and was getting traction until the spread in the Gay Magazine. How tone deaf can a high IQ General be?
Timmy's using the DNC points is a good thing. It gives Pace a chance to comment on every single issue.
Not exactly. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1520728/posts?page=154#154
But I do agree that government overpromises, and have held for a long time that we could be more secure with less centralized oversight.
Thanks Bahbah,
I don't watch MTP but will catch the internet feed later if it's interesting enough.
Edwards is shallow and has little chance of ever being elected for higher office. My guess is he's "interviewing" for cabinet positions he thinks may open IF a Democrat can win in 2008.
He'll run for anything
He's biggest fear is to be forgotten .. which is why he started campaigning again right after the election
Chrissy Matthews is on talking about the President possibility pulling down troop when a Civil War is starting in Iraq
