Real reasons for living together out of marriage;
1) Woman can continue to collect alimony from previous husband.
2) Woman can collect State aid, medical and dental coverage for children.
3) If woman gets pregnant, can get State to pay for abortion if she wants it, or birth if she has it.
Its all about the nanny state taking care of unwed mothers. If she gets married, the couple is supposed to take responsibility for themselves. The system opposes marriage.

You forgot #5. Cheaper on income taxes then being married!
FL gov. signed a law last year which now provides that cohabiting with a boyfriend will stop the alimony.
We have to attack the divorce laws if we want to stop this game playing.

In one case, the snake even brags about the "million dollar" home he lives in, courtesy of daddy, in addition to under the table income for her, plus federal and state aid for the children...
I don't know about other states, but California will pay for the abortion whether she's single, married, rich, or poor.

I have been living with my man for almost 8 years now.
I don't collect alimony, state aid or other abortion services. There are people who just don't want to get married. I hate weddings. I have never dreamed of my wedding day. I think they are an enormous waste of money.
He has asked me to marry him countless times & I have said yes. But, I honestly don't see the point. If we were to have children, I would marry him. But, neither of us want kids.
Our relationship is just as good (probably better) than all of my married friends. In fact, I have had a few friends that blamed getting married on the death of their relationship. Sometimes marriage changes people in a bad way.
