Dear Muslims in America,
May I suggest that it is time you got yourselves established as part of the American Way of Life, and not people of a religion that belongs to them and not to us.
I have been sending the following email to various calendar makers. You may like to do the same and get your holidays included in the 2007 calendars.
I have noticed that many calendars in the USA list the Christian and the Jewish holidays, but not the Muslim ones.
As there are now 8 million Muslims in the USA, exceeding the 6 million Jews, Islam is now the second most popular religion in the USA, after Christianity.
I feel that their holidays should also be included in the yearly calendars.
Here is the list of Muslim Holidays that could be included on 2007 calendars.
BTW, if you are wondering why the dates of the Muslim Holidays are 10 or 11 days earlier each year, it is because they follow the lunar year, which is about 355 days.
So the dates for 2007 will not work for 2008!
Look forward to hearing from you.

I was about to write a post that this was a joke!
This person is for real???
Hey, Al Jay; you don't use our calender, and you can't agree among yourselves on what date is which; or even when a month starts.
You had almost a weeks difference between when Ramadan started or ended, depending on who was asked.
So, if we put your holidays on our calender, we would have to smear each one of them over several days.
Print your own.
More important, they left out Soul Cake Tuesday, and Hogswatch Eve.
Thanks. I suspect that the 8 million number is indeed way, way inflated, for political reasons.
Geez, I hope so...
We Catholics print our own calenders. We are 25% of the population, but no specificly Catholic holidays are included, except Ash Wednesday, and this is recent.

Add Muslim holidays to the calendar? Yeah, let's do that. But first, let's stick a BIG FAT NEEDLE RIGHT IN OUR EYEBALL.
How about kicking out violent, seditious, troublemaking terrorist supporters who have no allegiance to the country they reside in whatsoever and lie to every dhimmi as it suits them?
Wanting the US to become a Islamic State is thier stated goal, that means overthrowing the government and suspending the constitution. Sounds like sedition to me.
I think the next arab muslim attack on the US will result in a severe decrease in the number of mosques in the US, as well as thier attendees.
There are as many Hindus in the US as Muslims. Do they make demands about holidays? No. Neither should Muslims.
I'll drink to that!
Copied and saved to the hard drive.

Some notable Jewish holidays -- Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Passover, Hanukkah -- show up often on Gregorian calendars. The reason, non-Jews often send Jewish friends greeting cards for those occasions.
Eid al-Fitr sounds like Adolph Hitler
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
>>>Maybe we'll do this when calenders in Islamic countries start including Jewish and Christian holidays.<<<
Dittos.
I agree with you. No, no, no, a thousand times NO!
