Columbus Dispatch ^ | 2/27/2006 | Misti Crane

After more than an hour of history on the prophet’s life and an explanation of the significance of Muhammad in Muslim faith, Terry Freeman remained baffled by the cartoon controversy.

"It’s very, very difficult for me to understand the outrage that has been shown around the world," said Freeman, who lives in southwestern Columbus.

"Somebody drew a picture, so what?"

Well, actually acknowledging bad Muslim behavior is a sign of progress.

This is much better than claiming that it didn't happen or that the Jews were to blame.

"We look to him for everything from how to have a business to how to wipe ourselves after going to the bathroom,"

Well...I do like having his face on the TP and always try to aim farts at Mecca so mad Moe has affected my toilette habits too.

It's pretty sad when you need a book to tell you how to WIPE YOUR A$$.

Yeah, those pesky Jews. The only reason they had to be killed was because they fought back or refused to convert.

It's the Jews Fault.

Jews were killed under Muhammad’s leadership, but not because of their faith, but because of their role in conflicts against the Muslims, he said

Oh, okay, well, I guess they had it coming then.

"Kashubeck will be teaching an in-depth 10-week course to anyone interested in learning more about Muhammad. "

I think Kashubeck has Mohammad confused with Christ.

Mohammad, like his people, was a man of war. He fought, he killed, he took slaves.

Maybe Kashubeck should explain the Sharia. He should explain that Islam calls for death for anyone who converts to another faith, and death for anyone who tries to convert a Muslim. Maybe he should explain about the ritual uncleanliness of mans' best friend and a standard in most American homes - the dog. Maybe he should also explain why crosses and stars of David are not permitted in public view in Saudi Arabia.

While he's at it, maybe he should even explain why the Whabbists who run Saudi Arabia and bankroll most Islamic terrorist groups, had a sudden desire to ban pictures of Mohammad.

""We look to him for everything from how to have a business to how to wipe ourselves after going to the bathroom," he said. "

I wonder if he taught the best way to wipe the blood from your butcher knife and what kind of stone to use for maximum sharpness. Or should it have a jagged edge for sawing through the neck or heavy enough to chop through the neckbone? Which hand do you use to behead with? And how high over your shoulders do you wave the head you just severed to insure that your blood sacrifice is pleasing and acceptable? Details like that should be as important as learning how to wipe your butt.

With a little editing here's the next controversy:

"It’s very, very difficult for me to understand the outrage that has been shown around the world," said Freeman, who lives in southwestern Columbus.

"Somebody drew a picture wrote an unfavorable news item, so what?"

But when Ahmad Al-Akhras saw the cartoons news items, he felt disrespected, degraded.

Al-Akhras, an advocate of free speech, was insulted by a Danish newspaper's publication of cartoons depicting the prophet the publication of unfavorable news articles. Most American newspapers, including The Dispatch, have refused to publish the cartoons articles.

"Your fist should stop where my chin is," Al-Akhras said. . . .

Every event is an excuse to "learn about Islam." After the 9/11 "event" (his word) Ibraham Hooper advised Muslims to use it to teach Islam. To wit, "The event was terrible, stop picking on us, let us teach you about Islam."

For free books and DVDs on Islam, visit the Web site www.submit.or.else or call 555-Submit9. Those interested in taking the 10-week class should also call that number -- or else

The Danes provided 500 men in Iraq and 1,500 troops in Afghanistan.

Considering the size of Denmark - that's a lot more than some of our other allies.

Remember to fly the Danish flag and call the Danish Embassy in Washington to express you gratitude and support for a little country with a big heart who is being stomped on by an international rabble of vicious fanatics.

The Danes, if I recall, also stood up to the NAZIs when they tried to ship Danish Jews off to Auschwitz and Buchenwald.

Those were my exact thoughts, it seems as though they are assigning Christ characteristics to their mohammad. I wonder if he has ever truly explored Christianity?

Almost 200 people gathered yesterday at Sunrise Academy, a Muslim school in Hilliard, for a lecture on Muhammad and the opportunity to share thoughts on the controversy and international relations.

Mohammed lead an evil life. He was a terrorist thus the above cartoons are very accurate. It's so amusing to see Muslim riots over Muhammad being depicted as a terrorist because it's the stone cold truth.

Infamous passage in the Hadith:
Allah's Apostle (Muhammad) said:
"I have been made victorious with terror" Bukhari 4:52:220

Probably not. The Lutheran, Methodist, Epicopalian, Presbyterian etc in America no longer teach Christ and Christianity. They teach a distilled pablum of "God loves you no matter how despicable you are" and how we should give up guns, stop defendiong ourselves as a nation, open our borders, stop disposing of garbage (eliminating executions) and promulgating sodomy and baby killing.

So let me get this straight. Moe is the last "prophet" of the "true god", but doesn't know that marrying 5 wives more than "god" allows is bad? Not to mention that marrying and having intercourse with a child is probably not a good thing?

So maybe ALL of his "revelation" is flawed and needs to be reevaluated or better yet forgotten on the dustheap of failed religions created by men.

There are just way too many contradictions to common sense and morality for any rational adult to take this religion seriously.

I'll take Jesus' love and sacrifice for my salvation over anything satan cooks up as a conterfeit religion.

-the prophet’s 63 years of life, including nine marriages, one to a 6-year-old girl.

Muslim custom sets the limit at four wives, but Muhammad’s marriages happened before that rule came about-

Well, lookee there - a loophole. Clearly not everything Moe-hammed lived and breathed was/is acceptable. Next time some muSlum declares the great prostrate is the be-all and end-all, here's a bit of a conversation starter. There are probably many more tidbits like it.

Really?? Funny I just heard a methodist minister last sunday talking about the Great White Throne judgement mentioned in Revelation. It didn't sound to me that the people (non-believers) that are destined for that judgement had nothing to worry about.

What denomination do you belong to by the way?

I'm a registered Methodist.

I suggest you investigate your own Church.

There are individual Methodists and Methodist ministers who are true Christians, but the hierarchy of the Methodist Church spends your tithes and mine advancing goals like:

gun confiscation in America

opposition to war in general and the Iraqi and Afghan wars in particular

support for illegal aliens

opposition to the death penalty.

Check them out. The UM Church has become a subversive organization. And the Epsicopalian and Presbyterian hierachies aren't very different, plus supporting abortion and homosexual minsters and marriages.
