This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia. Most would be outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement.
One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business. And that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times, one might be tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement. We are a society which holds "Freedom of Speech" as perhaps our greatest liberty And after all, it is just a sign. You may ask what business would dare post such a sign?
Go easy on Jorge, doug. Being sense of humor challenged is no laughing mater.
I read that too and it is disgraceful...Hell, yeah, the ragheads are happy...why wouldn't they be??
You should reread Paul, "O' Death, where is thy sting?".
ROTFLMAO!
I love it!
"matter" that is.
An elderly Jew is on his deathbed and, much to his relatives' surprise, calls for a priest. When the priest arrives, the man declares, "I want to convert."
Confused, the priest asks, "Sir, why on earth would you want to become a Catholic when you've lived all your life a Jew?"
"Better one of them should die than one of us!" the man snaps.
I'm a very happy person.
And I have no problem accepting death as a fact of life. I just don't think it's funny.
And sorry, it never occured to me to make jokes about my father dying.
I do have a sense of humor about things that are funny.
Unlike you I don't find the death of family and loved ones to be funny. Sorry.
I believe completely in what Paul is saying, and I have no fear of dying.
But I still don't find death funny, ESPECIALLY when if comes to people blowing themselves up in acts of terrorism.
Paul is talking about saved people. These people are the lost and their deaths are a tragedy no matter how you look at it.
The Bible says God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
And I don't think it's appropriate for us to be laughing about it.
(snicker)
What kind of inverted reality do you live in?
Laughing at death and tragedy is warped.
Guess you think snuff films are enjoyable to watch, and perhaps I am "sad" because I don't?
I suggest you seek counseling.
lol
What would you know about Christianity?
Have you ever read the Bible?
God says more than once that He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
It gives Him no pleasure to send people to Hell, and for you to suggest that us laughing at the death of lost souls "Christian" humor is just unreal.
I don't think God enjoys seeing us laugh at the suffering and misfortune of others.
And I make no apologies.
Right, you're so funny.
Why don't you try some of your death and dying jokes on some of the threads announcing Freepers passing away.
See how many laughs you get.
The fact is you're out of touch with reality.
I gotta tell you Jorge, the Irish and the Jews have been laughing at death for centuries and we're all doing pretty well.
Hey, what's the difference between an Irish funeral and an Irish wedding?
One less drunk at the funeral.
BEAUTIFUL
I drink and I laugh at funerals. All the time.
But I never thought of it as laughing at the death of the person in the coffin.
I never made a joke about my father dying. I suggest
that you not mention the death of my father again.
I just laughed at "1000 ARAB TERRORISTS" dying
rather than "A SINGLE JEW", and then laughed at a
self-appointed seriousness patrolman making a fuss
about it.
This thread didn't die, it just swapped to another joke!
I never made a joke about my father dying. I suggest that you not mention the death of my father again.
Really?
YOU'RE the one who brought up the death of your father in a post LECTURING ME about not being able to joke about death.
NOT ME.
I tell you that I would never laugh at the death of a family member and YOU have the nerve to tell me not to mention the death of your father?
You are resorting to such contorted arguments that you are totally confusing yourself dude.
In any case it's obvious I made my point!
So besides your ability for laughing at the deaths of people you don't even know, you have a talent for making personal judgments against other people you don't know, simply because they don't share your morbid sense of humor.
Big surprise.
