Port Authority: We're suing to stop sale to Dubai firm

NEW YORK -- The Port Authority said Thursday it will file suit to block a Dubai-based firm from taking over operations at a Port Newark container terminal, saying the federal government has not given them assurances about security issues.

I don't remember those UAE hijackers flying bombs into UAE buildings. They flew them into ours. So as great as Franks' knowledge of that arena is, call me crazy, but I prefer to have our elected, accountable officials have a lot to do with our domestic security.

No port is being sold. Some commercial enterprises located within some ports is being sold but port security will not change.

The thought has occurred to me that if the (soon-to-be) future administration of Hillary Clinton had done this deal, those who are pro-administration in this debate would be screaming - let me restate that for emphasis: SCREAMING - that it was a sellout of national security

Actually if hillary was in power(shudder) the chicomms would have gotten a sweetheart deal. You know China a country that has nuclear weapons and is not an ally on the WOT.

Ha...In those days JR was a democrat. But that does not mean that he acted or thought like one. Many battles are not even about politics or parties. They are about common sense principles, and the heart. You must know deep down inside that deals like this port deal are at the very least diminishing your country. True patriotism is the commitment to preserve your country. Not to give it away.
