Being the author of this Thread gives me certain privileges. So I would like take one and 'Welcome Back' my wife, [Mrs] Trooprally. She has had bronchitis the last several weeks and even though not completely recovered, she wanted to get back into FReeping. She was at the Friday night Walter Reed FReep and then today. [Mrs] Trooprally occasionally had to spend time in our jeep to warm up, but she was there when needed.
Also at this Saturday's FReep were Lurker Bill, my self, and iMacMan, who also took the great pictures for this Thread. iMacMan is the FReeper who put together that terrific collage of the FReepers' signs at Walter Reed.
Weather this week was an improvement over the cold rain two weeks ago and the snow last week. It was DRY. That's the best I can say because the wind chill was in the low 20s.
But that didn't deter the "grumpies" (iMacMan's new name for the pinkos, communists, etc.). They had six of them, off and on, which out numbered us. Mr. Waveman was back this week with his "Support the Troops, Impeach Bush" sign. Surprisingly they had their mini banner up today.
Once again we had more honks and thumbs up than the pinkos, and no middle finger salutes from passing cars. What is nice is that the bus drivers also give us a honk or wave. I counted 8 honks for the "grumpies", up from 6 last week.
