FBI Raids Middle Eastern Owned Convenience Stores and Service Stations (Louisiana)

TV 8 News has learned the FBI and local law enforcement authorities are conducting a statewide raid of service stations and businesses owned by Middle Easterners. Agents executed search warrants today at businesses from Tallulah to Ruston and in Monroe. The FBI says the raids are part of "an ongoing criminal investigation." Police sources tell TV 8 News the raids target possible money laundering and counterfeiting in connection with suspected domestic terrorist activity and homeland security. TV 8 News will have details at 5, 6,and 10.

This is quite something but I know one of guys that got raided. He is a pretty nice guy. My ex wife messed up on the checkbook and I bounced a 50 dollar check to him. Gave a couple of weeks to pay if off while still buying stuff there. Looks like alot of stuff dealing with cigarettes. I highly suspect the Ruston guy is not a terrorist.

Scary? Awe that's nothin' come on up here to Northeast Ohio! Yesterday a broken up Terror ring, last month 14 mosque leaders on charges ranging from creating false documentation for immigration purposes, money laundering, falsifying payroll records, filing false tax returns, mail and wire fraud and more (its a 66-page indictment that contains 76 counts), along with the chief Imam deported in Jan. '06 for lying about ties to terrorist organizations. Yeah...come on up here to Ohio. You would get pretty scared. There's a lot more going on than meets the eye.
