I know, let's sell them a port!
I live in "whitebread country" and we are pretty ethnically challenged. I visit friends near Philly a lot. A few years ago I needed gas and I stopped at a station near the Downingtown exit off the PA turnpike. I pulled in and there were guys in turbans everywhere. Honest to God it was the first time I had seen a guy wearing a turban except on TV or in pictures.
Except for engineers and doctors, you still don't see many mid-easterners here.
Anybody catch the graphic on the front page of today's USA Today? It showed the percentages of foreign nationals versus Americans getting engineering degrees in the US. It was like 2 to 1 foreigners.
I understand that many of them are owned (and MANAGED, too!) by foreigners!!!
Quick -- someone call Sen Schumer!!!!
This is all along the I-20 corridor?
"I do not know what you are talking about. Vood you like a hot dog?"
Perhaps the Feds are catching those they can now that the leaks have damaged their ability to wiretap effectively??
Especially now that Chavez owns all the Citgo gas stations.
...and the dry cleaning establishments.
Anything to do with flammable chemicals.
Imagine 3 or 4 gas stations at one busy intersection, with a gazzilian gallons of gas under each one, blowing up at the same time. Jihad!

That is correct. I live in Ruston and am familiar with one of the stations raided. Just called my wife @ work and one of her co-workes saw TV vans all over. Will be watching the 5 pm news for details...

Two things, multicultural immigration has brought in all the worlds moral standards, I'm sure many of us have stories about what we suspect is criminal behavior by some of the businesses we deal with now, for example I never saw one gas station that dealt with cash only, until the middle eastern- americans took over so much of the self serves. Crime like this is more difficult to deal with than, say pre 1970. The second problem is, because of Feminism we quit teaching our girls to protect themselves. Look at pre-sixties America and you will see that females were much better protected by, cultural rules and personal restrictions.

FBI raids convenience stores
posted: 02-22-2006
FBI agents raided convenience stores in Ruston, Monroe and Tallulah today, running search warrants and seizing records as part of what authorities would only describe as an ongoing criminal investigation.
Dozens of law officers, including FBI agents supported by local and state police, executed search warrants at the east side Mini Mart in Ruston, the Delta Mini Mart in Monroe and a convenience store in Tallulah. All are operated by men of Middle Eastern descent, authorities familiar with the stores said.
At the store in Ruston, agents seized business records and at least one safe and loaded them into a rental truck.
FBI spokeswoman Shelia Thorne refused to provide specifics about the investigation.
In the past, federal investigation of these types of business have dealt with people selling counterfeit goods, money laundering and sending money overseas.
Authorities refused comment when asked if the FBI was investigating any suspected ties to terrorism.
Keep me posted on further updates!
Obviously these are Federal price gouging charges in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
