I am having trouble with my XM signal this morning. Meanwhile, good old Tim Roehmer from the 9/11 Commission is weighing in. At least he understands that if this deal doesn't go through it will be a huge insult to the emirates.

Everyone was Ga Ga over her. She did much better in her auditions. I thought she was horrible on the air, but, she may have sounded better in the studio so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

I don't depend on Tony alone...I've listened to all the sources and have a little bit of knowledge from my job. The poetry of the UAE emir is awful. The Government of the UAE (NOT some horrible terrorists who happen to live there just like they live here) has contributed resources and their considerable intelligence assets to our disposal. I can speak directly about the internal security to our country not being compromised, it's not. It's like when pieces of the systems I work on get transferred from company A to company B. My authority on those networks don't change, because they can't. The security doesn't changed. I obviously don't know the nature of the foreign policy issues, but W, and Cheney and Rumsfeld and Rice DO NOT put our security at risk. I think it comes down to a question of trust. I trust these guys. If WE, here on FR don't, what happens when this all goes into the greater mire of the political maw. The deal may be dead. But it's going to cost more because another company is going to charge more, and it's going to have foreign policy implications that are not good for our country.
