They 're not that smart.
Someone would have to phone it in to them.
What you posted is not only worthy of being repeated.....but should be read by ALL of us!
Fox and Friends spent less than 5 mins. this morning on this story, I doubt others will mention it at all. Great catch McGruff.
Not only was the WMD story glossed over for several months by the msm(Gen Sada is almost a memory only a few weeks later) but another important blurb on the Barrett Report was ignored where we learned that any congress critter at all who has the cajones can post the entire report, should he or she have the cajones to do it.
But the biggest fiasco of the week was how we let the MSM set the agenda on Able Danger.
Will someone please tell me how Dick Cheney's hunting accident(cold blooded drunken killer that Dick is)could possibly be of more import to the nation than what Col. Shaffer is currently going through?(Shaffer is being ravaged by the DOD and was not fired only because Curt Weldon threatened to quit) and What's more important than the hearings on Able Danger in congress(that c-spam "forgot" to air live)last Wednesday?.
Answer-we let the msm/old/antiuqe/lamestream,left wing/ media set the agenda for the country one more time.
Quite frankly when Britt Hume did his sterling interview with VP Cheney(anyone surprised FNC was picked) and Dick said more or less "I shot him I take full responsibility, the story ended and the msm knew it. But they just couldn't stand it that our guy was so straight forward(while the cowards on the left never admit anything anytime, anywhere) and up front and fearless they had to drag it out for the foreseeable future. We fell into the trap of responding to everyone of their lame attempts to get bush (in this case get Dick Cheney. We let the ususals set the agenda by responding all the time to every stooopid little comment made by the rabid Matthew's,Neanderthal Dave, and the rest of the left wing DNC/ swilling groupies on the left.
Guess you can tell I am a bit pissed. Earlier in the week I believe Peach(if memory serves) said we do need to respond to msm claims about Cheney and to counter with the truth and of course she is right. But to what degree?
We should not constantly let them set the agenda, and we did once more time. The guiltiest of parties were in talk radio where the usual suspects from Rush down constantly responded to claims of "Dick Cheney the mad hunter" all week long while key aspects of Able Danger(where we now know that we had 13 photos of Mohammed Atta months before 911 in a terrorist cell in NYC and the 911 commission never even mentioned it or was even briefed on AD)) were left basically untouched except for a few noble attempts by, of all media, CNX, with Lou Dobbs(who gets it) and a scant few others.
If you will notice Dobbs (love him or hate him) lets no one set his agenda ( a key thing we need to learn), Lou is all border agenda all the time and is fast becoming a huge patriot on what should be common sense issues.
Does CNX have to do so to regain any audience at all?
Probably, but at least it is being done. If you would like to get updated on what is going on with Able Danger, even listen to some of the PDF files recordings of the House Wed. hearings et cet. it's all right her for you on FR, as usual FR always get the job done.
Here are a few links you can check out. Able Danger had two live threads, part I and part III right her on fr. In addition I urge all freedom loving Americans/Freepers to check out the Able Danger Blog and take a special note of the right hand corner where it's now possible to help out Col Shaffer financially.
The Able Danger Blog is located at
will get you to the hearings and the above plus
THIS will get you to part III.
Let's set our own agendas we don't need the msm to tell us what the news is anymore.
LOL!
I don't believe it is a viking kitty "term: per se'! LOL!
but hey- I like your idea.. it could certainly work!
Also he forgets the white people affected in Biloxi and Gulfport and pass Christian.
that picture of the Cheney's from 1962 could be taken outside my Grandparents house. They all looked just like that. The entire town had only been there since 1906, and the first settlers, including my Grandparents and the kids they had at that time, all lived in sod huts, literally.
I remember visiting up there in 1960, when I was 5. The Cheney's look like my older brother and oldest sister (right down to the scarf) from pictures from that trip, though we don't have any of them on a motor scooter.
Thanks much EC it needed lots of help.
Reading that post....just takes me back to one of my pet peeves...the knee-jerk legislating on Capitol Hill...
It seems like every little thing that happens out of the ordinary these days...requires hearings, investigations, and IMMEDIATE new laws!!
Is this a case of knee-jerk legislation back in 1988---or, is this a case of a knee-jerk reaction because of this one sale??
IOW...what precipitated the original law...and is this the first instance that Congress has gotten their panties in a wad over it??
It just seems that everyday something happens in America...and a media person, pundit, or politician exclaims, "There oughta be a law!"
Gosh..rodguy, I didn't know you are sick...I am sorry to hear that...hope you feel better soon...
FWIW..I skipped that post...I started seeing double...LOL
Not going to happen. Hillary is not going to step aside on her own. To force her out Dems are going to have to leak all sorts of stuff about the Clinton years, the most recent being the Barrett report. Won't do it because they admit complicity to the deeds by having remained silent. Like it or not the Dems are stuck with the Clintons. Bill and Hillary have been a cancer on the Democrat Party that has been allowed to grow and grow. The patient is now terminally ill. May God have mercy on it's soul.
My point egg zackly.
OHHHHH...I haven't watched the Fox Sunday show yet...what did Lindsey say about port security??
His pomposity will keep getting him in trouble if he doesn't do his homework...which could be said for most Congresscritters that go on these shows, IMHO
i Just didn't want anyone to miss your WISE and NEEDED analysis......my pleasure....
Oh my!! I love that picture too!! Aside from the shoes, as you say!! :o)
exactly!!
thanks for reading that article... I LOVE HERMAN CAIN!
EXCELLENT MAN!
Everything you say is true, the only problem is that at Seans level in talk radio everyone below him is shooting at him and Rush is always looking over his shoulder whether he admits it or not. Talk radio is always WAR, sometimes friendly sometimes not. But always a war of ratings. Hannity may well get way with not going to Iraq but look what the competition is doing.
I caught just a bit of it on my way out the door to church this morning. But the look on Mary's face when Maureen started talking about VP Cheney being a Phantom was priceless.
Maybe Doug from Upland could do a take off on "Phantom of the Opera", with Maureen singing "Phantom of the White House."
I can't remember the exact quote, but it was something about not wanting to put our port security in the hands of another country. Clearly that is not what is being done, so there was Linseed, wrong again and just going for the "see how tough I am" sound bite.
I didn't watch it all but what I saw was Gregory trying to undo damage to his image. He never anticipated how his childish fit would play in the "real world".
