that picture of the Cheney's from 1962 could be taken outside my Grandparents house. They all looked just like that. The entire town had only been there since 1906, and the first settlers, including my Grandparents and the kids they had at that time, all lived in sod huts, literally.
I remember visiting up there in 1960, when I was 5. The Cheney's look like my older brother and oldest sister (right down to the scarf) from pictures from that trip, though we don't have any of them on a motor scooter.
Thanks for your earlier link to MSNBC's video. I was able to watch MTP and see Ms. Dowd in all her glory. What a piece of work she is.
