Great statement that will greatly disappoint the Hate Bush/Cheney media and the Hate Bush/Cheney democrats.
Of course the Hate Bush/Cheney MSNBC did not write that Whittington was "accidentally" shot by Vice President Cheney but rather omitted the word "accidentally" on purpose.

Following Whittington's release from the hospital, David Gregory was overheard muttering, "Neuman!".

I also thank all of you for understanding the best you can that medical attention was very important to someone my age. And you havent failed to give my age. I see some kernels of why Cheney likes the guy.

STATEMENT:
Good Afternoon.
All of you in the media have been very patient in waiting for me to make my appearance here. I hope you understand. Im sorry I delayed you, but I know your role is to get the news out to the public. I compliment you on what youve done. Ive read and seen many of your reports and I know your job isnt easy. I regret that I couldnt have been here earlier so you could see what a lucky person I am.
For many years my family has been friends with the Armstrongs down in Kenedy County. We have visited with them for over 25 years and have had some wonderful trips and visits pleasant memories that we cherish forever. However, this past weekend encompassed all of us in a cloud of misfortune and sadness that is not easy to explain especially to those who are not familiar with the great sport of quail hunting.
We all assume certain risks in whatever we do, whatever activities we pursue. And regardless of how experienced, careful and dedicated we are, accidents do and will happen and thats what happened last Friday.
I am very grateful and want to thank all the people that remembered me in their prayers and the kindness you have extend to my family thats been here this week.
My family and I are deeply sorry for all that vice president Cheney has had to go through this past week. We send our love and respect to them as they deal with situations that are much more serious than what weve had this week. And we hope that he will continue to come to Texas and seek the relaxation that he deserves.
I also thank all of you for understanding the best you can that medical attention was very important to someone my age. And you havent failed to give my age.
Finally, I want to say therere simply not adequate words to express my gratitude and appreciation to the very talented physicians, medical staff, nurses, of this great Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital system, here in Corpus Christi and in Kingsville. Theyve given me exceptional treatment, care and compassion for which Im very grateful. They are truly remarkable servants of God and Im extremely blessed for all theyve done.
Thank you.

I know - when he first walked out, I thought he was a hospital administrator.
What discoloration I could see on the right side of his face looked like age spots to me.

Truly a class act. Maybe one day (hopefully many years from now) heaven will get its first lawyer.

Rush Limbaugh on his show today predicted the media focus on this would not be on comments, but the fact that no questions would be aloud. Still focusing on Whitehouse secrecy and cover-up.
Right as always, Rush. Here is the first paragraph on the CNN story
.
"The Bush-Cheney campaign donor spoke briefly to reporters at a Corpus Christi hospital around noon (1 p.m. ET) but took no questions."

That's the most polite way anyone has ever called the MSM "a-holes" that I've ever heard.
Awesome !

Here's something nobody seems to have caught. Here is how the Vice President was referred to in the written text: "vice president Cheney"
Notice no capital letters in "vice president"? The MSM can't even show that much respect!!!!!!

Mr. Whittington has more class in his little finger than the MSM has in its' entirety, including no names like David Gregory, Dan Rather, Bob Schieffer, et.all. Seems a shame that we all need to learn what real class is from this man's ordeal. God speed, Mr. W., and thank you for your grace in this incident.
