Harry Whittington, the man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney last weekend, spoke to reporters as he was released from Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He did not take questions. Here is a transcript of his statement.

Re the medical staff who treated him: "They are truly remarkable servants of God and I am extremely grateful for all they've done."
He seems a gentleman through and through.

Here's something nobody seems to have caught. Here is how the Vice President was referred to in the written text: "vice president Cheney"
Notice no capital letters in "vice president"? The MSM can't even show that much respect!!!!!!
But I know what you mean. Whittington truly is a gracious gentleman.
So, you can post what you feel you missed! for the rest
of us. C'mon ! Hop to it! You can do it too!!
Then he'll be glad to have some company.
Mr. Whittington has more class in his little finger than the MSM has in its' entirety, including no names like David Gregory, Dan Rather, Bob Schieffer, et.all. Seems a shame that we all need to learn what real class is from this man's ordeal. God speed, Mr. W., and thank you for your grace in this incident.
Hey, he was out shooting quail. You know the DU routine: animals GOOD, humans BAD, hunting MURDER, murderer CRIMINAL.
Of course, they have to stop there, because of their inherent inability to consistently insist "criminal PUNISHMENT". Often, and always selectively so, it's "criminal FEEL-YOUR-PAIN", or "criminal VICTIM-OF-SOCIETY", rarely "criminal PUNSHMENT" unless the 'criminal' is a Republican, which they would consider a redundancy.
He was probably too subtle for the MSM to know that he was dinging them. Rush had a great break down of his statement.
My problem is when people post the first 40 words of an article instead of posting the meat of the article.

This is the crux of the matter, simply stated.
Paul Begala, David Gregory, James Carville, David Letterman, Bill Beckel, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and the rest can all stew in their own bile now.
I am familiar with their opinions but I do not see any sense or civility in what they believe.
As a Buckeye,I enjoyed my brief working stay in Texas-the folks are down to earth and cool even if they're not overly fond of Yankees.I even managed to endure Whattaburger :-o
