You will LOVE it.

It's really good if you put some tortilla chips in the bowl and pour the soup over it, too.

You all might like this for an easy brunch dish. My girls like it.

APPLE FRENCH TOAST (350°) · 2 tablespoons corn syrup

· 1/2 cup butter

· 1 cup brown sugar - (packed)

· 1 loaf French bread --crust trimmed, and sliced thick

· 6 large eggs

· 2 cups milk

· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

· 1/4 teaspoon salt

· 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

· 1 large tart green apple (Use 2)--peeled, and thinly sliced

Combine syrup, butter, and brown sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for several minutes or until syrup-like consistency.

Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.

Pour syrup mixture into the bottom of a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan. Layer apple slices in the syrup.

Lay the bread slices on top of the apples. Pour egg mixture over all, cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cut into squares and invert to serve. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.

Ms. B~ Your thread is lovely! YEA! You did good!

I have got to get in on this!!

I make this pasta dish for a pot lucks or events where I know there will men, and don't know much about what the other people will like..(men love this~ I think it is the bacon). It is easy and takes no time to throw together.

Divas dishy dish:

1 package Spiral pasta noodles, cooked, drained and cooled.
5 slices of bacon, baked, cooked, towel dried and crumbled
1 package of Tyson southwest Chicken strips, chilled
1 Cucumber, cored, peeled and chopped
1 Cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
One half Cup real ranch dressing
1 teaspoon Celery salt- (very important ,secret ingredient)

Get a large bowl and throw it all together. Serve with Fresh Fruit salad, and fresh Corn Bread biscuits
