You're one tough cookie! When I started working full-time I just quit cooking altogether! LOL! I was never dedicated to it in the first place.

Hi Taz!
I no longer cut the tips from vegetables like string beans and squash if grilling or quick frying. They hold their shape much better and are easier to work with. Peppers can be split down the center, cored and seeded, leaving the stems attached. I never trim corn on the cob like you might see in the store.
We don't eat the stems and ends but the vegetables do have better flavor and texture.
Actually , my son does eat the stems and ends,,,,,,but what the hell!

Hugs from KY.
Our Governater had his Gall Bladder yanked out yesterday.
The Vice Governater is on vacation in Disney land.
Nobody is running the state and we are doing just fine.

Hugs returned.
Been missing you guys.
Painting is hard work.
Kept my brush and rollers rolled in saran wrap and in the refrigerator for a few days.
Paint is $40 a gallon and I didn't want to waste any.
Now I'm down to just trim and catching the dings on the ceiling.

Just about the only thing. LOL!! Whenever we have one of those "bring something" thingys, I get all the ingredients and get my Mom to help me. I do the pudding and crackers, and she does the chocolate topping, then I do the clean up.
