I keep trying to tell my hubby that, but he won't *hear* of me using rhubharb! I *love* strawberry-rhubharb pie. I might just slip it in on him in a cobbler or something... cherry-rhubharb cobbler is amazing.

Thanks! I'll have to look for it. Does your family like German food? That is something I really miss from being there. I don't care where we try it here, it just isn't the same.
Remember this? ;o)

I rarely make meatballs although I love them. I usually use italian suasage for skabetti.
I dont make it that often so I dont worry about carbs and fat

My boy says the same thing. It has made him so much more homesick since our neighbor next door is from Germany as well, and when they get to gabbing, geeeeez... forever! :) His family has a long history in Germany, and he is the first generation American. I try to keep it real for him! :)

Thank you so much for the wonderful thread! This is definitely going to be a lot of fun reading up on. I already have a bunch of notes on what I want to try.
It's about time for me to go watch some more of the Olympics before I head off to bed. 5am comes awful early! Goodnight and sweet dreams! Prayers all around!

The only recipe I have handy is my chili - Jinx's Jet Juice.
Nana is doing okay. She had her first session with the Physical Therapist today - evaluation - and received a whole new set of exercises. The therapist was hoping she was at 90 degrees by now, not just 60. We've our work cut out for us.
