Brit Hume interviewed the vice president today about the hunting accident; the conversation will be on Special Report, Fox News, at the usual air times tonight. People who say he's non-emotional do not understand the man. He IS an intellectual, and a very cautious man with his words, but that by no means rules out him feeling things deeply, or taking his responsibilities seriously.
Bump that
Thanks for the Dose, Gretchen....will be back...I am bouncing around about 4 threads right now...and that doesn't count the Olympics is a while...or American Idol...yikes!
I meant to add....Thanks for the dose. Great pic's today.
Yes! I was so happy to see Laura wear that dress again -- that she first wore to one of the second inaugural balls. It's one of my favorites because the fabric is so eye catching and the cut and colors are great on her.
After watching the interview on Fox, I absolutely agree with your assessment. Hopefully, a few liberals and Dems with open minds will finally understand that VP Cheney is an honorable man.
when/if that happens I will be looking outside for pigs flying by!!!
I LOVE that dress! It's very different from anything else she has worn. And that shade is perfect for her coloring.

I think that's the gown Laura wore for the white tie and boots ball just before the inauguration.
I think you're right. I like the fact that she is comfortable wearing an outfit that she likes more than once. She is definitely NOT a Diva! :o)
What a beautiful couple!!! That color is perfect for her and he looks perfect in a tux. Also in jeans and boots - and come to think of it, in a tux and boots. Thanks so much for providing the day in pictures (better than 1000 words!).
Do you (or anyone) have a more flattering picture of that dress? In the pix shown here, it looks really ugly.
God bless you, Mr. Cheney. We love you.
Thanks for Dose Gretchen.. I have big time headache & was just about to take a nap & saw the Dose was up..
I agree speekinout..Not her best outfit, huh?
that looks like maybe raw silk.. lovely fabric & maybe not for this dress..She has that lovely red evening gown.. maybe too big now that she has lost weight.
