Slapping myself!!

I, who have been mostly fiercely opposed to this Rhino, noticed a slight softening of my attitude recently.

I needed this.

Count me among those self-destructive types who will stay home rather than vote for the Rhino.

We need a new term. RINO is not a good description here. These people want to tear the Republican party apart. They are wolves in sheeps clothing.

My question: WHO is pushing for McCain to run??? I doubt it's the voters. Is he the best our party can offer? Sad......

Susan Collins is running for Senate re-election in 2008. She should focus on her own campaign and leave the rest of the nation alone.

We all know McCain is running. Question is, will he run as a Republican or an Independent candidate. If he runs as an independent, he could play the spoiler role and hand Hildebeast the White House with less than 45% of vote.

Wonderful..

...said Collins told McCain that he would.

I'm sure McCain is glad HE agreed!

I'll advise him today. Don't run. Don't even think of running. If you do, the Republican party will splinter as sure as rain falls from the sky.

Looks like McCain is planning to sidestep the Republican primaries altogether and start wooing the moderate voters who already support him. Perhaps he is hoping if he can kiss enough MSM butt the media will just report he won, no matter the result, or delay the result long enough to get a lawsuit going.

In 1996 Bob Dole was able to lock in endorsements and campaign money, quickly and easily because of a lifetime of freindships and the likelyhood that Dole would either be President or Senate Majority leader after the elections.

McCain has many fewer allies within the GOP. His main source of power is the junk media. That ain't gonna get him the GOP primary wins 'cause the GOP base don't watch junk media.

A "likely potential" candidate. LOL.

If she's just going to advise him on how to carry her home state, fine. If not, poof. Bad move if he wants to win the nomination.

Good. Just the thing to get the conservative base even more firmly against McCain. I myself used to like McCain a lot, before I became conservative!

A spokesman for Sen. Collins confirmed that McCain asked her if she would be one of his advisors if he decides to seek the White House. The spokesman, Kevin Kelley, said Collins told McCain that he would.

I don't know about this. Picking a transexual as an advisor won't go over very good with the mainstream.

,,,fellow Republican Susan Collins of Maine will serve as one of his Senate advisors.

Another good reason not to vote for McCain.

I don't think McVain will run. He will be 72 in '08 - too old.

If he does run, he will quickly wash out in the primaries because he's - too old.

The primaries will be fun. I figure we leave them speechless when they lose, but it should be fun listening to Collins explain it all.
