Tony Snow is back and better than ever! Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:
Tony Saves Your Love Life
On the occasion of Valentine's Day, Tony endeavors to save the love lives of the married and the single alike. Not only is our host a political guru, he's an expert in affairs of the heart as well!
The Terrier Press
Like a small dog with a death grip on a toy, the White House press corps growled and tugged at Scott McLellan regarding the Vice President's accidental shooting of his hunting partner. The results were predictably silly.
Muslim Rage
Muslim author and scholar Irshad Manji gives us further insight into the anger behind the cartoon furor. When will the riots and protests end?

All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
"Who was the reporter who asked "Would this be worse if the man had died?"
This is all so entertaining. I adored watching the press reveal themselves to be the intellectually lazy fools that they are.
If Mr. Cheney wanted me dead, I suspect I would be.
Talk about a bunch of spoiled brats! David Gre-gory was one of the worst - - and that's when he was OFF camera. As someone on this or another thread said, the WH ought to pull his pass.
Outside of the fact that most of them are a bunch of idiots, it seems to me they don't have a lot of respect for Scott - - -as I and others have said before, we need someone a little more forceful and/or who will laugh at them. Ari was pretty good at this.
More Cowbell!!! ;>)
I sure liked Ari, I miss him.
I have to agree with you about Scott. He should be in a different position. He's just too much of a punching bag for these jerks. Ari punched back. I would like to see the press secretary take well-aimed shots at the biased media. It won't ever happen because they all think they have to get along, but a little more forceful than a punching bag would be nice. Nevertheless, I think he's there because he's setting the "tone" that President Bush wants to set. Not combative, just factual. Still, like Rush says, when the enemy is destroying himself, LET THEM. The press (Gregory especially) looked like a bunch of spoiled children. Tony played a bunch of yapping dogs which sort of described them...I'd have used pigs in the trough...but whatever..
How cn you not know why women want Valentine's Day to be special?
This is a HOLIDAY! One day in the year- set apart for couples to focus and concentrate on their love, their romance.
Us women RARELY HEAR romantic words. We are knee deep in kids, bills, dinner, etc...in essence- REALITY!
A CARD is SO EASY.. You don't even have to write the poem or sweet words of adoration on your own-- they have WRITTEN THEM FOR YOU!
Can you NOT pick one ONE piece of PRE-WRITTEN ROMANTIC PROS to GIVE US? WHY SO DEFIANT?
kids don't care about the card- they care about the gift...
We women are able now-adays to BUY the things we want... but we NEVER HEAR the swooning words of a man that loves them....We want to be reminded of the way we were adored and treated when we were dating... when there was still some mystery and hope....show us you love us like you did then......
The CARD should READ LIKE YOUR HEART! We WANT TO HEAR YOUR HEART!
Hope that helps....
Well, I've never been called shy! LOL! Hope you have a grand day!
Tony said 40% of adults in America are single - - I did not know that. Another group I have the dubious 'honor' of belonging to. Wonder how many of the 40% are 'conservative'. While I don't like to limit myself, I'm not willing to go the Mary Matlin-James Carville route ;-)
Definitely agree that the White House needs a better Spokesman to deal with the press....I personally support Mr. Stick Man, but they seem to have passed on that option!
We do miss Ari! McClellan is probably too nice, and basically not savvy enough to handle the presstitudes. As for David Gregory, he is the Poster Child for the Biased Main Stream Media (or as we like to call them, the HBM!!)
Awwwwww....
OH MY GOD!! Tony just said my screen name on the AIR!!
I am a woman and I don't see why the cards are important either.
We are both allergic so I don't get flowers.
However, Mr.FF always brings a huge heart of chocolate. I'm not a chocolate fiend so we share it.
Everyone is happy in my house.
Way to go Retro!
Congrats on the mention! And you're right, I don't want my wife to think I forgot. -
Where's the crown?
Woohoo!!!! But, darn it, I missed it!
I'd like to know how many of that 40% who are single, have NEVER been married. I think it would include divorces.
You Rock!
