McCain's showing is very disturbing.....we have a lot of work ahead of us to run that POS off the stage.

If McCain is the nominee millions of conservatives will stay home. If so, they's better pick up lots and lots of Democrats.

Well that's certainly disappointing. McCain finishes a close second -- at CPAC?

It is disturbing... and the MSM will double their efforts to give McCain as much puss-time as possible.

Why are some names on that list twice, with differing percentages?

McCain's been all over TV, incessantly. The last was an embarrassing appearance on SNL. Would like to see and hear more from George Allen on a regular basis. I'm betting we will.

Why are some names on that list twice, with differing percentages? Error in the post...the Allen/McCain at 11% were from last year's poll.

If McCain runs as an independent I hope he looses his voice.
He and Hillery would make a good ticket, that would split both parties.

Not really. Add up the Rices and Guilianis and Gingrichs and add that to Allen's total. Then add the Hagels and others to McCain's total. It's a good showing.

If McCain's denied and Hill's numbers continue to plummet, she'll make overtures to him.
