McCain's showing is very disturbing.....we have a lot of work ahead of us to run that POS off the stage.

If McCain is the nominee millions of conservatives will stay home. If so, they's better pick up lots and lots of Democrats.

Why are some names on that list twice, with differing percentages?

McCain's been all over TV, incessantly. The last was an embarrassing appearance on SNL. Would like to see and hear more from George Allen on a regular basis. I'm betting we will.

McCain has been trying to court the conservative vote since the 04 election was over, as has Giuliani. But, I'm very happy to see a real conservative like Allen was the winner. I support Allen for president, and I think a good ticket could be Allen/Pawlenty or Allen/Sanford.

"Disappointed that McPain did as well as he did."

That 20% represents the RINO vote.

Wow. Bill Owens actually got votes? This poll must have been taken in 2002

I believe everything from Giuliani on down was from last year's poll. If you check the HEO article, it references Patrick Ruffini's post from last year.

But glad Hagel did so poorly.... I don't want or trust McCain, but like or trust Hagel a lot less.

McCain is much more than a puffed up RINO, hes is a self absorbed political aristocrat who would sell us down the river if it would enhance his political fortunes, just look at his campaign finance reform gag order if you have any doubts.

How can *anybody* call themselves a conservative and support McCain for president? < shaking head >

Firstly, congrats to the Allen people. They showed up at CPAC with his entire Senate campaign apparatus plus a ton of VA college students. Americans For Dr. Rice showed up with our merchandise, eight people, a couple of hotel rooms, and a song and a dance. We ended up about where we are nationally if you remove Allen.

All in all, we had a very good outing.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Can you tell me why Allen is listed twice...22% and then 11%? I know last year he received 11% of the vote so perhaps that's the confusion. Please clarify? Am passing this along to my doubting friends who have been listening to me talk about Allen '08 for 2 years now.

Just notice McCain is on here twice too...wish the 11% was the true number for McLame.
