Ann Coulter...was definitely Friday’s biggest draw at CPAC 2006.
From the get-go the conservative columnist had the crowd cheering and was frequently interrupted by applause.
Many of Coulter’s talking points came from recent news events -- such as “the great Danish cartoon caper” and President Bush’s Supreme Court nominees.
“Muslims are the only group who kill because people call them violent,” she said of Islam’s rage over the printing of Muhammad cartoons.
Speaking about the nation's highest court, Coulter not only expressed elation at Justice Samuel Alito’s confirmation, she also shared her feelings on Chief Justice John Roberts ...
She had fun impersonating Sen. Hillary Clinton, mocking Clinton’s MLK Day remarks on “the slave plantation” in the House of Representatives, adding: “And you know what I’m talkin’ about, girlfriend.”
“I can say that by the way,” Coulter said. “My party freed the slaves.”
Democrats have three major planks, she explained: “Abortion on demand, gay marriage and banning the Boy Scouts.
Someday they’ll find a way to combine them all and figure out how to abort all future Boy Scouts.”

If we can't use logic and reason on this forum, then we won't have much firepower against the liberals, will we? If we make unwarranted attacks on other freepers, (as you have done several times on this thread alone), we negate our ability to defend ourselves against our REAL foe.

I don't believe that 'all's well that ends well' if it reveals in us an ugliness and deceit, and complete lack of emotional control, and that's what the Miers incident did.
Her resignation and President Bush's subsequent nomination of Alito (who was on his short list and ready to go), was a good thing..........a VERY good thing. But the behavior on this forum was childish and vicious, and those who behaved in that manner are now gloating that it was a good thing, and that they, themselves were responsible for what happened.
That, to me, is a joke. The morons on this forum who were yelling and screaming had absolutely NO impact on the change of nominees. And neither did Ann Coulter.

2. Calm down or start re-taking your medicine.

It's quite clear that you are unable to defend yourself intellectually, so that you have to insult others due to your own inadequacy. I've tried here, rc, but you keep letting me down.
These things are good to find out about freepers in dealing with them in the future.

She also "lightly" trashed GWB in connection with the Miers nomination with her nasty dig about his drinking days.
Sad to say, but Ann is turning into a right-wing version of MoDo. Smarter and funnier to be sure, but still nasty, venomous, and full of cheap shots. Like MoDo, Ann also seems to be getting more bitter as time goes on.
Bitterness is a good explanation. I suppose a lifetime of sarcasm and insults begins to take its toll on even the brightest among us. Ann needs to turn this train around before she is relegated to the dustbin of irrelevance.

I don't think you're what you claim to be......but I guarantee that I AM consistently conservative, and have been for pretty close to 50 years.........that would be from the time I started caring about politics, and before I started 6th grade.

I think you're making this whole thing up based on your PERCEPTION of my 'posting record,' because it's certainly not based on reality. You're either badly misinformed, or your a bald faced liar. I prefer to think that you're clueless, because I'd rather not think that you're deliberately lying right here on a forum where the facts can be proven.
(P.S. being in love with Ann Coulter is NOT a proof of conservatism).
btw, I read Phyllis Schlafly when I was 14 years old, and haven't changed since. How about you?
I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. My 'posting record' is cleanly conservative, because that's who I am......top to bottom, start to finish, inside and out.
Give me the links, please, that you come up with, of posts that prove I'm not who I say I am. I've got five years' worth of evidence...... this actually could be fun...... for ME that is.
