I'd like to see somebody in congress introduce a "sense of the congress" resolution (or some such thing) that the president, in his responsibility for foreign policy, should take any action whatsoever that he deemed appropriate to terminate the threat to peace and American interest from Mr. Chavez and stating that no other act of congress should be construed to restrain him in this matter in any way whatsoever.

Liars. I guess their prisons are models of human decency, Amnesty complaints are over trivial things, like 2 ply toilet paper rather than the brutal single ply stuff. Britain will return The Falklands to Argentina, right after Chavez returns Venezuela to the Arawaks and Caribs, the occupants of the land prior to Spanish conquest.

I believe this issue was visited upon several years ago. At that time the majority of Falklanders wanted to remain Brittish.
Although the Brits. suffered many losses ultimately the brits kicked Argentinas ass. Would love to see it happen again, maybe Venezuela can join Argentina for the ass whoopin this time.

The indigenous people of the Falklands are those of British descent who colonized them in the 19th century. They were the first people there. The Argentines got their butts whipped in 1982 and it would happen again if there was another war today. Fighting people whose tradition is liberty and individual freedom are very, very hard to defeat. My own response to Chavez is to tell him to turn over large parts of his own country to the original inhabitants, sort of a STFU.
