Wish I was there *BUMP*
For those already here, don't forget about the DC Chapter FReep of CODE PINK at Walter Reed tomorrow night!
Wish I was there, bump.
After four in a row, I miss this year's CPAC.
Me to.
Barr was aggressively pushing his pro-Judicial Oligarchy agenda; The audience protested and was silenced.
Barr ignored questions challenging his premise that "Bush should not decide where to put wire taps; An [appointed] judge should make the decision."
Barr ignores the fact that the president is elected and the president can be booted. There's almost no way to get rid of a useless judge.
Barr advocates giving more power to the judicial branch of the government. My question--which I did not get to ask --would have been: Why even bother with elections? Why not just have judges, aka LAWYERS, choose our leaders?
I feel like we are sitting ducks at a "you should all become moderates" conference.
BTW, This was during a "panel" where there is supposed to be open debate. Instead there were head-nodding puppets.
Someone please tell me I'm wrong.
Wear warm clothes, but if you get too cold there are plenty of cars immediately next to the FReep that will keep you warm. And tgslTakoma's great coffee and hot chocolate also keeps one warm.
Remember, this is now ALL FOR the wounded troops because we now occupy ALL FOUR CORNERS!!
Me too!! I hope George Allen lets it fly at the President's dinner.
"Why not just have judges, aka LAWYERS, choose our leaders?"
Puhleeeeeze! Don't give these idiots any ideas. The moderates would love that idea.
Can someone in Hollywood please grow a set of balls and make a movie depicting the life of Mohammed? I'd be sure to see it.
If they did who would you choose to play Mohammed?
Can not be there. Thanks for the insight.
CPAC! Sponsored by Progressive Insurance and The Open Society Institute!
Who the hell is Bob Barr? He is nothing. An irrelevance. Why was he even invited?
bob barr is also an ACLU employee.
Thanks so much for the commentary on the Barr appearance..
I knew it couldn't have been good...when I heard Chrissy Matthews on Hairball touting his appearance today..and how even HE thinks Bush is operating illegaly.
BTW...I can't believe someone asked him to speak at CPAC when he was supposed to be the one to introduce Gore at that MOVEON.ORG speech last month!!
This guy is to be shunned, IMHO.
Hey CyberAnt....long time no see!!!
Glad you are here...I was wondering where everyone was...I so wish I could have actually attended this conference.
You are kidding me?
CPAC is sponsored by Progressive Insurance???
The owner is a HUGH leftie!!
What is going on here?
