'El Rushbo' On Cavuto: Rush Limbaugh Talks On 'Your World'
The Post Chronicle ^ | 2/8/06 | Jim Brogan

Posted on 02/08/2006 2:41:42 PM PST by RepublicNewbie

Rush Limbaugh, the man with 'talent on loan from God,' paid Neil Cavuto a visit on his TV show 'Your World' which was being broadcast from the golf course at Pebble Beach, California.

The most listened to talk radio host in America was happy to share his feelings on the events of late as well as speculate on those to come. Rush started out by scolding democrats over giving the President a hard time over the NSA domestic wire tap issue. Rush said the Democrats miscast it and that it's NOT domestic spying, "They've made it look like they're interested in an al Qaeda terrorist bill of rights"

Cavuto asked Limbaugh whether or not he felt that Muslim cartoon scandal has helped the President in regards to wire tapping. Limbaugh stated that he didn't think the American people needed any convincing and it was the Democratic party that acts like they need to be convinced. At the end of the day Limbaugh states that the President is going to do his job no matter what anyone says about him, including remarks at a funeral.

Limbaugh also went on to explain his disdain for Polling and feels the media uses polls in order to create news stories. Rush went on to say that George Bush was happy after being asked how he thought the President felt after being dumped on by two former Presidents and others at Coretta Scott King's funeral. He said that the Democratic party is embarrassing itself and that the funeral had 'everything,' including what Rush called a 'Brokeback Mountain' moment when the Bishop gave the President a kiss on the cheek. Then you had a bunch Wellstone memorial moments where he likened the Democratic party to that of the film the 'Wedding Crashers' because they're "funeral crashers"

I can't read the article. Try counting how many "went on to say" phrases there are in the article.

I counted only three times that phrase was used.
Your point is?

Cool, I'll stay up for the replay of Cavuto's show to see him.

Roger Headcock is a terrible fill in host. I opted for Johnny Cash instead.

Then you didn't get to see this:

Carter's of the world and those that espouse his type of ranker

Maybe they mean "rancor"

Love Cavuto and for sure Rush. . .

. . .did not like it however when Cavuto referenced how much Rush earns. It was all light-hearted, of course; but noticed he did not ask 'what-his-name' who followed; and never hear Neal make similar 'light-hearted' observations/comments re the personal wealth of Demrats. . .

. . .as per. . .say, Dianne Feistein. . .or Bill Clinton or Hillary. . .or even Katie Couric. I am sure Leon Pannetta is worth something; but no offers to handle his investments. . .oh well; perhaps I am just round the bend on this. . .but I don't like it, nonetheless that Rush's earning power is always a topic of an interviewer's conversation.

My guess is that he has less talented fill-ins now since previous guest hosts (like Hannity and Snow) have gone on to their own nationally syndicated show. Why would he want to keep making more competition for himself?

Roger is a very well-known talk show host in San Diego. He is #1 in this market - and counts usually 2-3 million listeners per week. That's practically the whole county.

Rober is a former mayor of SD - and he's also a libertarian - but leans more to the conservative side. He's done a lot for this city .. and during elections he hosts ALL THE CANDIDATES and presses the issues with them.

But lately he's been a little too outraged all the time. I'm surprised - but maybe he's just a little more than fed up with all the garbage that our city hall has been going through. He tried to tell them when he was mayor - but they wouldn't listen (in the early 80's). We recently elected a former police chief - and things seem to be heading back in the right direction.

"The most listened to talk radio host in America was happy to share his feelings...."

That statement would annoy Rush no end.

"At the end of the day" did it for me.

My first exposure to that extremely tiresome phrase occurred when a bunch of rats started using it all at the same time on the talk shows. I no longer even listen to the Sunday talk shows so I don't run into those dumbo focus-grouped phrases.
