The Knight and the Archer, upon their adventure
had just watched the rescuing scene,
how the maid-in-distress cum magical miss
used her sorceress powers so keen,
the castle walls rumbled, the treetops, they trembled,
with the force and the blast from behind,
as the maids came flying in fear they were crying
out words of warning to mind,
The dragon is there, all others beware,
for the trolls, they are fighting to the death,
but their spears and their swords have had no rewards
against the beasts so fiery breath!
The Knight had seen, in the time in between
the start of his adventures til now
both terror and beauty, but in such quantity
that he swore an under-breath vow,
Here were ladies, and mistresses, and several princesses,
and even a countess or two,
assembled around, on the tree-shaded ground
more loveliness than he ever knew,
And Constance exclaimed, Let the hero be named,
who devised our escape from the trolls,
from those who had stolen us all, and beholden
to greed and their horrible tolls!
And the Knight, he was bathed in showers of praise
from the damsels and ladies he saved,
with his cunning and wit, though his sword never bit
on armor or enemy stave,
But a shout from the Elf who had stationed herself
on a vantage point high on the wall,
brought all there to attention at the anxious mention
of the danger about to befall!
Look to the rear! For what I see here
is a terrible sight to behold!
You made it all free, but here, do I see
a deed for my friend Knight so bold!
For all eyes turned back, to a loud noise and attack,
as the great dragon Lashin drew near,
for it tired of the trolls, and it heaved and it rolled
toward the glen, and a cry came of fear,
For not all of the lasses escaped through the passes
of trees, and shouting out desperate peals,
came the last of the maids, flying through the glades
with Lashin right at her heels!
Long hair was a whirl 'round a slip of a girl
A Gypsy-witch all there could tell,
with powerful commands in those pretty hands
but the dragon blocked every spell
"Oh, such a woe! will anyone go,
our dear Esmeralda to save!"
shouted all of the lasses, as fire and gases
swirled around in a burning blaze,
But the shouts turned to cheers, as without any fear,
the Knight drew his saber and charged,
straight into the face of the firery base
as the dragon his breath did discharged!
Backwards and forwards as the battle came towards
the gate of the glen and the dell,
the Dragon and Knight were locked in their fight
and the outcome, none there could tell!
But the curse on the girls had already unfurled
and the Knight knew his duty was clear,
for the ladies and elves had rescued themselves
and now he had nothing to fear!
So, the battle raged on, until quite put upon,
the dragon abruptly did flee,
for Constance's spell ran the beast pell-mell
and the heroes and ladies were free!

Wow, Kidlet, this is a great thread! I stand in awe of your research and how you put this all together!
Here's a little more information about the Eddie Eagle Program.
Friends of NRA committees all across the nation provide money to their individual states to purchase Eddie Eagle program materials. This means that schools, police, and other civic organizations can apply to NRA HQ for no-cost materials to conduct Eddie Eagle seminars or assemblies in their area.
We also have contests to give away Eddie Eagle costumes to police and fire departments who want to bring the message to younger children in their communities.
Thanks again for an awesome thread!

My mom is going to answer for me, but I am going to tell her what to say.
I shoot a 22 rifle right now. It's a single shot, and I am shooting prone.

I really like your thread. I love to shoot. And I can hit a bullseye (or real close to it) withOUT my glasses. We used to shoot a lot of skeet but hubby's feelings got hurt, I think, because I always shot better and really liked to rub it in. Shame on me ; )
