Spend last evening in the er. Still have stone; they say it looks small enough to pass. They may or may not be right as the entire composition of my stones don't completely show on CAT scan. On dilaudid and water.

Sorry the pain is so bad.

Are you up to 2mg of Dilaudid yet?

Just 1 mg so far, up from 1/2. Does seem to do the trick better as long as I put something in my stomach first.

Taz, strangely, the edema in my legs has completely vanished this morning, even though I've been inert for a few days. Only thing was I didn't take all my meds last night; didn't take Calan, Urocit-k (K citrate), calcium & Nexium.

That is a real slap fest.

My girls spar with great alacrity.

It is almost like watching skilled fencers.

Solly is superb at round moves, she slips in tugs and ear and steps back.

Her favorite places to grab are neck, ear, and back leg.

She weaves in and out.

I don't know the rules but they are present.

My four feisty female felines won't go near each other.

They all want to be queen.

Only Vera "momma" "Meems" Miles uses physical violence and that to bap, bap, bap, slap the daughter she never wanted.

EN GARDE!

It seems that every other night
My sister and I get bitten by a certain bug
After Our Humans go upstairs to sleep
Onto the big Den rug we will leap
To learn to protect ourselves and one another
Under the watchful eye of our Mother

The matches are not long, but sometimes loud
Grey striped Jennifer seems most proud
Of her speed and lightning dexterity
Flashing paws to my elbows and my knees
While my teeth brush her fur and ears
Tumbling then breaking away without fear

Mother calls this a lesson in "Kitten 101"
We both understand its reason and fun
To control the Inner Cat is a big responsibility
Just like stalking, killing and climbing trees
We do some things only if we must
And these lessons creates the ability and trust

Great, Jack..Ours do more chasing than the fighting they did when younger kittens.(Hide the crystal vases!).They had some real matches. One would occasionally cry out but they never seemed to really hurt each other. The smaller ones held their own.Our alpha "Queen" older female will hand out bops but does that less often now that the kittens have learned she is queen...

Our once starving stray played monitor/mom when they were younger as they had no mother. Watching her with the kittens was amazing.
She joined in the play time I just had with the kittens.
