Rev Joseph Lowery preached some anti-Bush, anti-War rhetoric today:
LOWERY: We know now there were no weapons of mass destruction over there. But Coretta knew and we knew that there were weapons of misdirection right down here. Millions without health insurance, poverty abound, for war billions more, but no more for the poor.
Only liberals can get away with using the funeral of the wife of a civil rights leader to preach your Bush hate and anti-War rhetoric, and only liberals would do so.
Great comments... I agree with you.
Military objectives of Operation Iraqi Freedom
LOL, you're right.
Isn't it funny how, on a thread about libs using Mrs. King's death to bash Bush, a lib comes on here to bash Bush?
"I don't know if the American left or the terrorists hate America more."
There is a difference.
The Terrorists would like all AMERICANS to be decapitated.
The rest of the world would then quickly start building thousands of mosques.
The American left does not hate America.
They hate anyone who does not agree with their ideology, being in power, Whether it's the head of a union, a boss at the Social Security building, a newspaper publisher, an actor, a school teacher or even a baseball player. These people have to be attacked an invalidated..24/7.
It may appear to us that our freedoms are one by one being added to the left's murder pit, but they don't see it that way.
They think the best way to create a left wing Brave New World is to start with a clean canvas
Burn baby burn.
This was absolutely despicable. I thought this event was supposed to honor the life of the deceased, not spew out leftist venom in front of the President's face!
Tell ya what: when the time of President Clinton's funeral arrives, maybe President Bush (or any other political figure on the Right that is allowed to speak) should let out a few unvectives of his own...maybe folks on the Right should stoop to their level for once & LET THEM HAVE IT!
But somebody please tell me something: what's the deal w/ folks like Rev. Lowery (& especially Rev. Jesse Jackson) putting all of their most important talking points in rhyming fashion? Could it be due to a lack of intelligence, or what?
It is ALL THEY KNOW! They are born with it. They learn more of it as they grow. And they die with it. "Bash the other side and we might win." It is their mantra.
Just one of many speeches, I just happen to have this one handy: (excerpt)
"Many Iraqis can hear me tonight in a translated radio broadcast, and I have a message for them. If we must begin a military campaign, it will be directed against the lawless men who rule your country and not against you. As our coalition takes away their power, we will deliver the food and medicine you need. We will tear down the apparatus of terror and we will help you to build a new Iraq that is prosperous and free. In a free Iraq, there will be no more wars of aggression against your neighbors, no more poison factories, no more executions of dissidents, no more torture chambers and rape rooms. The tyrant will soon be gone. The day of your liberation is near."

And he did. I am one of the ones who has a problem with it.
Don't worry.
Most everyone in the US has been through a funeral before and they mostly know what it should be like.
The Democrats and the idiot leftists have had their day. And it disgusted just about everyone except OTHER hardcore lefties....
Answer:
It's impossible to tell until you find out if their house has a dirt cellar.
The fact that leftists don't see anything wrong with these people's no-class, petty remarks speaks volumes about them.
I can't believe that so many "grown-ups" need to have basic manners spelled out for them.
Democrats show, once again, that they cannot distinguish between a casket and a soap box.
I didn't see it, but I dropped by my father's house and he had watched it. He's really not "politically minded" yet he was commenting on what a disgrace it was to turn a funeral into a political event.
He's "average Joe" voter, and if he noticed the impropriety of the comments and the politicalization of the event, then I'm sure other Americans did too.
Shades of the Wellstone funeral, and we all know how well that went over with Mr. Average Joe voter.
There's plenty of money to be made by some enterprising casket company that could combine the two for Democratic funerals.
