From the Land of the Free Illegals and Incarcerated Americans...
Our "Justice" system has got to be the joke of the world............
Shocking.
I understand that Singapore and Thailand just waste 'em, no matter where they're from.
PING!
This is just DISGUSTING! I am sick of the little "groups" crying about being discrimanted against.....when what is really going on is they want SPECIAL TREATMENT! and then these IDIOT JUDGES GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!!!!
cotton pickin' son of a.........
Singapore yes, Thailand no, although I hear that Thai prisons are no fun.
It sounds crazy. Is there any chance that there is more to the story? I am not sure what more there could be, but would like to think such madness does not happen in our justice system.
I guess he was just doing another job that Americans won't, errr, can't, do (because they get put in prison for it).
Outrageous. Easy to believe though.

Justice west of the Carson River?

Death penalty for trafficking in drugs, or life in prison. Cane the SOB's caught with small amounts, for first offense. Test them for a year, and cane them again if they test positive. Test them for another year, if caught dirty, life in prison. If I were dictator, this stih would stop very quickly

In drug court, if Rivas completes all requirements, the charge will not go on his record. Felons are not allowed to become U.S. citizens or enter the country legally, his attorney noted, adding Rivas is the father of two small girls born in the United States.
Maddox took the children into consideration when agreeing on the court change.
"If he gets convicted of this then he's getting deported. His children are American citizens who will have to spend their life in Mexico," Maddox said.
A law granting in-state tuition to undocumented students is legally sound
