"Peace Mom" Cindy Sheehan is so angry that she wasn't allowed to disrupt last night's State of the Union address that intends to file a lawsuit claiming she was brutalized by Capitol Hill police who suppressed her first amendment freedoms.
"I have the bruises and muscle spasms to prove it," Sheehan said, in a message posted to several left wing web sites after she was arrested and then released on her own recognizance.
Sheehan also contends she suffered emotional trauma, complaining: "I am so upset and sore it is hard to think straight."
The Bush-bashing Gold Star mom says she wants to take legal action, announcing:
"I have some lawyers looking into filing a First Amendment lawsuit against the government for what happened tonight. I will file it. It is time to take our freedoms and our country back."
In her message Sheehan detailed the abuse by one security guard who hauled her off after she unzipped her jacked to display a T-shirt decrying the number of Iraq war dead.
"[A Capitol Police] officer ran over to me, hauled me out of my seat and roughly [with my hands behind my back], shoved me up the stairs," she said.
The anti-war Mom recalled complaining as she was being hustled out of the building: "I'm going, do you have to be so rough?"
Sheehan said that after the officer was informed that she was a big celebrity, the abusive treatment stopped.
"You didn't care about being careful when you were dragging me up the other steps," she recalled telling the Capitol guard.
Same recollections here. Everybody in the gallery is treated the same way - zero tolerance for noise, comments, even small buttons with messages on them.
Idiots like Ted Kennedy can rant on the floor all they want, but spectators must all be quiet.
Cry me a river, Cindy.
Code Pink, Michael Moore, GSFP (Gold Star Families for Peace - the group she helped start)... and probably a ton of other leftist groups also funnel money to her.

I am sorry for the loss of her son but I, for one, think it's high time we bring back the dunking stool, just for Cindy.
Note well the hand on her shoulder throughout the "interview." It's her Code Pink handler. Maybe someone with a background in psychology can better explain how she is being "love-bombed" by the leftists. I see the hand always on her shoulder, a handler always near her, to be sure she doesn't stray far from the message they have fed her.
I would like to see a member of the (R) side of the aisle bring up a resolution to condemn Lynn Woolsey's actions last night, and also mention that this isn't the first time that she has conspired with the leftists to disrupt a US government proceeding.
How old is Cindy? I am convinced that she just missed the 60's era and is a wannabe. I am sure many of us know the real thing, she is no 60's babe.

See, the thing is it's getting so there isn't a soul in the democrat party that someone like your dad can identify with. I think many are jumping and becoming republicans. But that means that the Republican Party is becoming more liberal. Soon as the rat party is put out of its misery there will be a battle royale for the soul of the pubs. I think there is a major party realignment in the wind. I don't know when, but I think it's going to happen.

I think what happened was the communist representative from California invited her so they couldn't keep her out. But they were probably watching her for the first sign of an outburst to get her out of the chamber. My first thought when Savage mentioned she was going to be there was "that'll never work."

I have lived a lot of years without hearing so much BS (yeah, except for Clinton and Kennedy) ... ... Do you know how hard she would have had her goons hit her to leave bruises and cause these mysterious muscle spasms? ...I would like to give her muscle spasms for LYING!! Cyndi, your son is turning over and over in his grave for every lie you spout! Your soul is uglier than Hilary's...at least she isn't using a deceased love one to be an embarrassment to her "cause".
I agree. Probably why her son joined the military. The kid couldn't stand his own mother; to the point he'd prefer to be in combat than live at home and go to school.
I disagree. By her actions and statements, she's spitting on her son's grave.
