There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!

The bit that Chris did about their lunch at the White House, I found bitingly sarcastic.
So I guess if these guys want to "spin" the President, I will "spin" them....LOL!
I think you're right. I never liked her. Jeff doesn't seem to be in a hurry to marry again. He was just a kid when he married Brooke. Now I suspect he'd do a prenup agreement and all that sort of stuff to protect his assets.
Find out tonight on 60 Minutes :)

Did you all see the numbers on the CBS Speech Watcher snap poll?
Better comments on the speech on Hanity and Colmes
Isn't it usually on a Thursday morning?
Or am I confused? (Don't answer that!)
Chris recently interviewed his Dad and it went well, but, at the end, i got the feeling that they're not particularly close...may be wrong but....
Personally I was flabbergasted that a son would say something like that on a public airway. Nobody touched the statement so there was no followup to expand on the bomb that had been laid on the table.
I suppose there is a chance he was pulling his father's chain in some sort of private gotcha joke exchange, but it sounded pretty straight.
Born in New York, I had the desire to move to Virginia for years, and finally did so, in 1976.
But while there are many Republicans living there, for some reason they keep electing Democrat Govs (except for Allen, of course) and the taxes, especially the real estate taxes just got ridiculous. Plus they taxes my little business every which way to Sunday, until I had to sell it, and then they wanted to tax me some more!
I love Virginia. Ecologically, it looks just like the area of Long Island that I grew up in. Hilly, same tress, and where I lived, large rolling estates. But the taxes finally got me and reality had to hit. I just could not afford to live there any longer.

No...what were they?
Billy, you need to be quiet when you don't have anything to say.....
Hi, Pol. No, I haven't seen the speech yet. I'm just about to go turn on C-Span. Cool that there was a dog. Military dogs provide a great service to our country. Nice to see them get a little recognition.
Absolutely, I'd rather see a Republican than a Democrat any day, even a moderate Democrat. I just worry about who can actually win.

Hi snugs. Thanks for the link. I'm just about to go in the other room and turn on C-Span to see if they are replaying the speech.
60 percent said that they think their lives will be BETTER after hearing the speech.
52 percent said that the war was RIGHT.
