WELCOME
to the first, RNC officially sanctioned, CYBER GOP House Party for the President's STATE of the UNION speech!

There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.

Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)

President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.

The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!

Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!

Here are your party favors! Please share..........

Jeff is a Republican who dates spectacular women

I just hope he doesn't get tangled up with another Brooke--all she ever wanted was his money, IMO.

There is a great caller on cspan - now - saying if you want to keep terrorism out of this country, do not put Democrats in power. It was during Clinton that the terrorists got into this country. Do NOT put them in power.

That's a great call to end the evening with. I have enjoyed being on this live thread with all of you. Thank you - good-night - and God bless our President and all his administration!

I dunno. I'm trying not to be too pessimistic about these kinds of things. Most incumbent senators are likely to be re-elected. That doesn't mean I trust him but we'll see what happens.

I've got to say that Brian Wilson was the only reason to stay on Fox tonight.

But then he's a Texan.

I wish FOX would hire some more conservatives

And fire Shepard Smith. Grandstanding little twit. If he was fired tonight he wouldn't be missed.

Me, I'd rather see Nelson of Nebraska replaced with someone reliable.

Reminds me, I have to send Katherine Harris another check.

When W said that we can't sit back and be attacked by terrorists again, everyone jumped to their feet with a deafening standing-o, except for the dems. Every single one of them (that I saw) stayed seated. That said it all.

Wow, Jonny. All teasing and joking aside, that just turns my stomach. I just don't know what we're going to do if this country elects one of them in '08. I've met several of the Leftist congress critters from SoCal -- Maxine Waters, Diane Watson, and a number of others. These are truly scary individuals.

Genuine Marxist-Socialists, most of them. At least the ones who come from here. If they ever got their hands on real power, they'd destroy the country for sure.

I just got here last summer! The research I did via the internet was worthless after I got here and found out about Warner's tax increases. Now Kaine is proposing the same nonsense.

He really called them to task, didn't he?

And the way they were sitting when they should have been standing, and yelling like bad little kids about SS..........I would have walked down and belted them one.......

But that's why I'm not running for President. :)

Bill Kristol ends by saying it was a "squishy" speech.

Bill Kristol never fails to disappoint me in his absolute wrongness.

Guiliani on now saying it was a bold speech. HA!

Oh, wow. I didn't know that. Yeah, I would think they disagree a lot. Mike Wallace hates President Bush. I can't believe that's his Dad!
