There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!
It has been a great party, and between the pain killers and the adult beverages I have consumed, I'm in a very good mood :-)
Nelson of Nebraska, a Democrat, is up for reelection in a red state.
I wouldn't count on his being so enthusiastic about the Presidents policies after he wins.
Yes he was.
i hope Chris Wallace repeats this on FNS. Of course, we all know how 'down to earth' our great President is and how much he LOVES our country...but, it would be great to have others hear it.
OK, if he only looks like an older uncle, then maybe you can get away with it...grin. But I'll bet Kaine never got to date some of the hot chicks Jeff has been dating since his divorce. Don't know if they're still together, but last year he was going with a really gorgeous woman. Kaine is barely known politician who got tapped to do the Dim STOU response. Jeff is a Republican who dates spectacular women. I think our side of the political isle comes out ahead on the comparison.
:) I didn't notice those two, but I sure saw Hillary. What an evil soulless witch she is. She smirked during the entire address.
But the dems as a whole made fools of themselves. When W said that we can't sit back and be attacked by terrorists again, everyone jumped to their feet with a deafening standing-o, except for the dems. Every single one of them (that I saw) stayed seated. That said it all.
I wish FOX would hire some more conservatives.
Seems these last few years every new hire is a Democrat.
I have to remember when people are so crazy in hate for him that either they hate him because he is soooo good - or they just have their minds deceived by the propaganda they get everywhere else that they just have closed minds to the truth about this amazing and wonderful President.
yes, think we should have a Dose freeper luncheon with W...and, of course, Laura...and, for snugs, VP Cheney and Lynne. lol.
I heard Chris say in an interview that his Dad was senile and needed a conservator.
Oh good another one on adult beverage LOL
He is a red state Dem. I was surprised he gave a standing ovation for renewing the Patriot Act. His fellow Dems didn't look too happy about that.
I was glad I turned on Fox after the dim rebuttal..The President upbeat and confident at lunch was great news..They all loved the luncheon with Bush..and the Kobe beef.
George Allen! "Don't change George's in mid-stream."
Do you know that WA charges a 13% bed tax at an RV park? I asked how they could charge me 13% on MY OWN bed!
What am I missing? Who's Chris Wallace's Dad?
I saw Kerry and his refusual to clap or stand several times
Ohio, thank you, so much, for this wonderful SOTU party! It is great to be among others who appreciate and love our dear President.
Mike Wallace of 60 minutes.
I was pumping my fist in the air (and at the democrats) several times throughout this speech! It was great! I have been waiting for GW to unleash on them for a loooooong time now!
