Which illustrates my earlier point about fags. Is Xavier in fact "downtown" or is actually closer to Greenwich Village?
My daughter(16 years old) agrees. Says it IS al about getting attention and that most girls who think they are bi or gay find out the hard way that they aren't, usually while trying to do it just to fit in.
Well for me, 'downtown' is anything below 14th street. Xavier isn't quite in Greenwich Village, though. It's close enough to count - 16th St, 6th & 5th Aves. It's probably closer to what they call 'Chelsea,' which actually these days makes your case! :-)
I stand corrected.
Chelsea is pretty queer, you know.
Regis grads are probably more familiar with the exact geogrpahy, but I had heard rumors to that effect.
There's probably some fire in that smoke, I admit.
Disclaimer: I only know maybe a handful of Regis grads who are DEFINITELY gay.
I know some, also.
Its a sad shame that even animals have higher standards than some members of the human race.
The "whatever" is homosexual, dear.
Along with gay, straight, and bisexual, theyll drop in new words, some of which theyve coined themselves: polysexual, ambisexual, pansexual, pansensual, polyfide, bi-curious, bi-queer, fluid, metroflexible, heteroflexible, heterosexual with lesbian tendenciesor, as Alair puts it, just sexual. The terms are designed less to achieve specificity than to leave all options open.
That bout says it all. As one kid in the article put it, it's more like whatever. These kids are lost, and it's so incredibly sad. This is what we have to thank the culture nazi's for!
Are they getting the kind of educations that are necessary to keep the U.S. as the leading economic power in the world?
Behold a pit of hopelessness. I couldn't handle reading the whole thing. It's just so out there that you'd think you're watching the Twilight Zone.
These girls need help from the Freeperettes.
Well, if being distracted it was either by wanting to barf on myself or because of the aimless rambling writing style of the author. And, I'm sorry, I didn't find anything titillating about the article. Disturbing, yes; titillating, no.
missed the fact that these are extremely smart, extremely well-educated kids, who are well on their way to being very productive adults who don't feed at the government trough. Unfortunately, that is NOT the "predominant motif in all our schools".
I hope you're joking. If you are serious, then I think that you are deranged.
First, being "extremely smart" or "well-educated" has no correlation to this deviant and deranged behavior.
Second, what in the hell article are you reading? What in these children's sexual deviancy leads you to believe they will be "productive adults who don't feed at the government trough"? Feeding at the government trough comes in a variety of different forms -- from the drug abuser to the liberal Senators who are wealthy, educated to the wealthy, educated --yet still gutter trash-- children described in this article.
Actually, the people described in this articles are classic liberals. In fact, one could rightly call them libertines, but definitely not libertarians.
But, I'm crazy, right?
I don't think so. A few samples from the article make it very clear that these kids are nothing but a bunch of confused children that are doing these things because the popular culture they live in is absolutely screwed up.
Some examples...
...some of which theyve coined themselves: polysexual, ambisexual, pansexual, pansensual, polyfide, bi-curious, bi-queer, fluid, metroflexible, heteroflexible, heterosexual with lesbian tendencies...The terms are designed less to achieve specificity than to leave all options open.Sounds like a generation of Clintonites to me.
She fell for a girl who got arrested while protesting the Republican National Convention (very cool), but the girl stopped calling after they spent the night together (very uncool).Yes, sounds like your bedrock conservative/libertarian folks. Right?
Then again, none of them are bad kids. Sure, they drink and smoke and party, but in a couple of years, theyll be drinking and smoking and partying at Princeton or MIT.Everything about that paragraph screams NE, panty-waste, limousine liberal. I found nothing that indicates that these idiots wouldn't waddle right up to the gubmint trough...that's what NE, panty-waste limousine liberals do.
My moms like, Alair, I dont understand you. I want to be a parent to you but I have no control at all . . . As a person youre awesome. Youre hilarious, you entertain me, youre so cool. I would totally be your friend. But as your mother, Im worried. Wow! Basically, everything that is wrong with modern parenting.
So, I don't even know what you're talking about...and neither do you.
There is no way in hell that I would send my kids to a public school in the NYC area. Stuy and Bronx Science are OK, although the latter is next to the glorified Juvie Hall known as De Witt Clinton High (alma mater of Robert Klein).
Best of luck to the youngsters!
It may interest you to know that Bronx Science places such a premium on getting kids into the best college that their entire English curriculum used to consist of vocabulary memorization.
I don't know if that is still the case, but I do know that when I got to college there were Bronx Science luminaries who had to take remedial English because they did not know how to write a coherent paper.
Unfortunately it's becoming more common & more acceptable. I couldn't read the whole thing, either, but I don't really need to. Alas, I've read some CA teen girls "my space"'s lately, and they're identical. Lots of girl on girl and guy on guy kissing/make-out pics, and not just famous people or band members - each other.
Some of their comments, and thoughts, both in the article here and elsewhere from these girls - are beyond all rational thought. The mystery of falling in love and boyfriends/girlfriends in school is gone: and they like it that way. It makes them more "available". It's all about being wanted, looked at, found SOO sexy/hotttttt/etc. To quote these idiots: "whatever."
