I don't know what sort of relationship they have. His position on the nominee is irrelevant to the GOP leadership, however.
Oh, it's been a long-standing stealth campaign! Well, gee, what was your first clue, Ted? It's been a GOAL of the Republicans for about 20 years!! It's been in all of the ads and columns, so how exactly is this a stealth campaign?

What Kennedy calls "stealth" and not what the Founders had in mind is what historically and informed citizens would call "grassroots" and precisely what the Founders had in mind.
