Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. Does anyone have the link for Cspan cannot get it on my TV.

Hes doing it again. Youve probably heard that Chafee, while still supposedly undecided on how he will vote on the momentous matter of confirming Alitos nomination, has declared he will vote to break a Democratic filibuster and allow a majority vote on confirmation.

Olympia Snowe (R-ME) - Against filibuster - Noncommital on the nominee
Her voicemail box (202.224.5344) is currently "full." LOL.

After Alito's Testimony, Democrats Still Dislike Him but Can't Stop Him
... The chances of a Democratic filibuster faded after the third day of hearings, as a spokeswoman for Senator Olympia J. Snowe of Maine, a moderate Republican, announced that Ms. Snowe would oppose it.

I think the link right now is bratwurst. Kennedy is surely making some kind of sausage on the Senate floor.
To: ken5050
flitting is
"to pass quickly or abruptly from one place or condition to another" but it only counts as "flitting" if you wear your tiara. (I always do)
Oh dear, Teddy is shouting! Is he angry no one is listening? I'm guessing he will speak for the entire hour, with Kerry getting an hour later on. I think we should be impressed if Kennedy can stay upright for that long so early in the morning.
