Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...

I admit I get a laugh out of you "glass half empty" conservatives though.

Hey, now: I'm not pessimistic - just cautiously optimistic - and not very trusting of the other side. Big difference. Perhaps you've forgotten how many times Congressional Dems have shaken Republican hands only to stick the knife in after they turn their backs.

The Swimmer is now saying Bork and Ginsburg agreed 94% of the time! If so, then why didn't Ginsburg get "Borked" too? Kennedy is shamelss.

Teddy yelling about children hiding in closets!

Teddy's world always looks gloomy from the bottom of a high-ball glass.

I would love to see only 52 or 53 to confirm for strategy reasons. The moonbat base would all move to Canada and stay home in November. I think it's our BEST shot at picking up seats in Nov. Gosh, today sure feels like Christmas. ;)

Me, too. I can't think of a better visual than half of the members of Congress missing. We couldn't buy a better photo-op for Republicans in the fall elections.

The moveOners are burning up the lines to their senators, which leads me to believe that there will be 41 Dems today who will deny cloture.

There won't be.

Landrieu, for example, lives in a "Blue" state. She dare not vote for filibuster. Same with Blanche Lincoln.

The MoveOn'ers are too stupid to realize that if the Democrats pull a filibuster, it will only ensure they are in the minority for two more years.

The left can't wait until there is another terrorist attack, and there sure will be one if they get into power again. Because the first thing they will do is get rid of the patriot act and homeland security

Democrats have done more for the Republican Party than we ever could........Democrats keep digging, keep on digging. The hole is going to get so deep that they will never be able to crawl or slither out.
