Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...
Have another drink, teddy. You're not quite incoherrant yet.
Meiers didn't have a judicial record, so we do know more about Alito and it's not a secret.
Fatboy needs to STFU.
So we REALLY need to hope they do it!
Ah. Alright, who lost their secret decoder ring? Geez, now we have to issue new ones.
Do you have a link ??
I'm not seeing anything what he said about the filibuster
Let him ramble. His rambling is a futile effort, all for naught.
She can go either way. It's wonderful that her vote is irrelevant. But I agree with your recollection, she's not been against either a cloture motion or a nominee, that I can recall, and she's one of my Senators.
I thnk the DEMs and GOP are "playing together" to make sure the process is dramatic.
I must be wrong....I thought Snowe announced she would vot to confirm?
encourage the dims-

Should the Democrats filibuster the Alito nomination?
Yes:
56.43%
No:
43.57%
Justice Alito will be on the floor in robe with the other justices.
Mrs. Alito will be with Mrs. Bush.
Let the RATS continue this nonsense. They are losing Italian American Democrats by the hour.
Absolutely. There was a sort of a litmus test for our side and that was that the nominee have a track record of actually adhering to the law and the Constitution. Now he's citing the NYT story about the "battle plan" concocted by our side.
I could've gone all morning without that. Ew.
Do the dems really think everyone is dumb? It's pretty clear that the opposition to Meiers was that she had no judical experience...
Canada just tilted to the right in their last election. The RATs will be lining up in Key West to attaching flotation to their Volvos and Beamers to make the trek to Cuba.
It will be interesting to watch how many Senators actually are swayed by the MoveOners. I agree it is prejudicial to the max to the future of Democrats getting elected.
Stinkin Chaffee. What a loser..
Hi, I see I didn't miss Kennedy. What in the heck is he rambling about...some New York Times article? It seems that the Times is deciding Rat policy now, if what I am hearing is an indication.
I think Kennedy is about to cry!
What would the Dims do without the New York Times to frame their political arguments?
