I was jujst thinking the same thing. They have no original thinking on their side so they need to go to the Times to get talking points?

What would the Dims do without the New York Times to frame their political arguments?

This is pretty incredible, isn't it. Kennedy railing about Republicans having a battle plan after the plan they put together to get Judge Bork. The NYT tells them to filibuster and, by golly, they do it. Now they provided Teddy's speech for today and now we're to think there is no "battle plan" on the part of the left. Hah!
