The MSM have condemned the President on this and continue to even some of the more right wing say there is blame to lay at his feet, despite evidence everywhere. Whatever the media says, dems lost their support in Luisiana where it matters. Kathleen Blanco is trailing republican Bobby Jindal by 20 points for governor seat if that 's any indication.

It was my understanding that we did not buy oil from Iran;. That seems to support that understanding. Obama just said that we send million to Iran to buy oil.

Thank you for your stand for conservative principles over there and being a friend to the U.S.
One day, more British will wish they had been our friends.
Off topic: One of my adopted U.S. soldiers was assigned to Basra to work with British troops towards the end of his deployment.
He is back in the states and says his next assignment is to UK. I think he has really taken to your culture. I wonder will he run into Harry? LOL.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!
GREAT to see ya!!!
Did you get a chance to READ the article? WALMART TOO!!!
OY!
Peter Flaherty, President of the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), today criticized Anheuser-Busch for its financial support of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), in the wake of hysterical attacks by MALDEF on Supreme Court nominee Sam Alito.
According to the 2003-2004 MALDEF Annual Report, Anheuser-Busch is MALDEFs largest corporate donor.
NLPC President Peter Flaherty today stated, MALDEF is conducting a hysterical and racially-charged campaign against Judge Alito.
Just days after Alito was nominated, MALDEF President and General Counsel Ann Marie Tallman accused Alito of a disturbing pattern of insensitivity towards Latinos lives and claimed Alito would dismantle fundamental constitutional protections currently enjoyed by Latinos and all Americans.
Tallman stated that Alito has spent a career attempting to roll back the clock on civil rights protections available to Latinos.
{snip}
Judge Alitos late father was born in Italy. I am sure it would come as a surprise to his 91 year-old mother that her son is anti-immigrant. Large, publicly held institutions like Anheuser-Busch should not be associated with MALDEFs ugly tactics.
MALDEF identified Anheuser-Busch as a Partner, for a contribution of $100,000 and over, the only corporation at that level. Other corporations supporting MALDEF at lesser levels include General Motors, Citigroup, Fannie Mae, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Sales USA and Wal-Mart.
NLPC, which promotes ethics in public life, sponsors the Corporate Integrity Project.

The pork spending is always attached to bills that the President couldn't possibly veto.
We need to find a way to make the line item veto constitutional.
I believe some Governors have that right and I think it would be a good idea if the President could have the right as well.

Dean: Dems are going to stop receiving influence peddling from the lobbyist moneys.
[Hey, Howard, where was John Kerry last week? Oh yeh, Switzerland -- attending a meeting of powerful influence peddlers.]

Bob Shiffer I think is about the fairest of the MSM we get the CBS evening news on Sky TV at 12.30am each day and I always watch it to get an idea of what the MSM in the US is saying.
He is obviously left leaning but does seem to listen to other points of view.

"Sounds like Dr. Dean is playing "hide the salami."
LOL!
I can't believe Dean just said (paraphrasing) we have to stop them from putting things in bills in the dead of night.
Too bad Chris didn't say, you mean like the Dims adding not sharing the full Barrett report in a bill late at night a few months ago?

The pictures are called 'clicks'. Every single person visitng the WH for any type of function gets their picture taken with the President and on occasion, the first lady.
It is my understand, (have no idea if it's true) that the pictures are being peddled by Abramoff's team.

Dean: "Right now it's a Republican scandal."
(spoken right after Chris got him to admit some Dems have done the dirty with Abramoff..)
Okay, Howard, be sure to make that appointment for a high colonic.

I think they 're reading and worried for the long term. I would be happy if they drop the fair & balanced and go with & follow truth & only truth slogan.I have always thought their slogan "Fair and Balanced" was a dishonest crock. After all, a lie from one group of scoundrels will "balance" a lie from an opposing group, and it's "fair" because they both "got their say".
They should switch to "Fox News: Accuracy and Truth".
To: TomGuy
Was just watching.Chris Wallace just had the good doc stammering trying to eat his own words.
I am sure Wallace is a lib like his father but he does try to be fair.

The Real problem for Democrats is that the "Moderate Wing" has become REPUBLICAN over the last 20 years, as DEMS slide farther and farther to the left...
The 2004 DEM battles were not between the Center and the Left, they were between the EXTREME LEFT, and the SOMEWHERE OUT PAST PLUTO Left, with "Moderates" having no say whatsoever.....
