Then why is Bush refusing to enforce the border security, even though the situation is obvious to the dumbest moron?

Rationally, I can think of only two possibilities. Now, maybe someone else can think of additional possibilities -- if so, I hope they'll post them, because frankly I'm stumped, other than the two possibilities that occur to me.

The two possibilities are that either "he has a plan", or, "he is compromised."

I realize these "possibilities" are absolutely worthless to you. I mean, let's say he does "have a plan". OK, he's got a plan. What IS it???

See what I mean? The "possibility" is worthless, useless, of no value whatsoever.

Same thing with the other "possibility". Let's for discussion's sake say, OK, he's compromised. OK, fine. He's compromised. But, by WHO? And WHAT is the "hook"? And why has this been done? (What is the goal of whoever has used whatever to compromise him?)

As before, see what I mean? Worthless, useless, totally devoid of any value whatsover for the purpose of figuring out WHY this madness is going on!

So, there you go --- two possiblities, both "possible", but both absolutely worthless for purposes of figuring out the situation!

...while the Ruling Eeeee-Lites are safe in their gated enclaves...

Exactly. Why should they care? I can't even watch Bush and his insincere stammering about the border for two more seconds. He and his handlers/puppeteers could give a rat's behind that most Americans want the invasion halted. Let us eat cake!

What is the goal? A borderless America. Elimination of the middle class. America won't be America anymore.

I'd really like to know how to tell from a news article that five arbitrary Mexican criminals are not among the growing number of Mexican Muslims.

According to an article written by Natascha Garvin (Conversion & Conflict - Muslims in Mexico) in the Spring of 2005 the Muslim community in Mexico is 1000 out of a population of 97,500,000 inhabitants. The statistical possibilities speak for themselves.

However, an easier way for someone like yourself to know how to tell from a news article that 5 arbitrary Mexicans are not among the growing number of Mexican Muslims is to very carefully look for the words "5 Mexican Muslims" in the article. GEEEEEEEZZZZ!!!!! :)

This is definitely going to be the thing that will bring the Republicans down is their refusal to protect the borders in the interest of making sure businesses have cheap labor. Even Freepers won't be able to justify their behavior.

And turn to the Democrats to protect our borders? I don't think so, especially since the architect of our present laws on immigration is Senator Ted Kennedy.

... and speaking one's native language was frowned on. We have a soldier who came to us speaking rudimentary English. That was three years ago. Today he has not only excelled on his Army Personnel tests, but is about to complete his AA degree. He is fluent in written and spoken English, albeit with an accent that doesn't interfere with this communication. His wife is also doing well in the nursing program at the 'U.' I heard another soldier ask our guy to say something in Romanian. All he got was 'the look.'

Instead of obsessing about the borders, kill the effing enemy.

I agree, start with the government.

Does anyone actually know the immigration process for Mexicans?

Except when there have been amnesties (7 of them since 1986) the immigration process for Mexicans is the same as for everybody else. The difficulty that they have coming legally is that there are only 5000 slots annually for unskilled workers. Since most Mexicans are uneducated, all 40 million of them that would like to come to America are trying to squeeze into that category and they are competing with the 5 billion other people in the world who are on average poorer than Mexicans.

It might be appropriate to adjust the 5000 number upwards a bit but keep in mind that back in the 19th century when the massive waves of poor immigrants were coming, it was before the New Deal and before America became a socialist welfare State.

Even though we set fairly high standards for the million or so immigrants we allow to come legally every year, most of them require some public assistance. Over the course of their lives, the average cost to the American taxpayers of legal immigrants is fairly low. I seem to recall a figure like a $10,000 net lifetime drain on the treasury per immigrant average. If we bump the number of low skilled immigrants up from 5000 per year to 400,000 per year which is the number in the McCain/Kennedy Shamnesty, you can expect that all these low skilled people will need substantially greater assistance and will be much more expensive for taxpayers then the higher skilled people we are bringing in now.

And once they get the vote, 80% of them are going to vote for RATS and more socialism.

Do you predict immigration will be the downfall of America?

I'm not sure what you mean by downfall. Will we collapse? I don't think so. Will our children enjoy the same standard of living that we do? I doubt it. While we are creating lots of jobs we are also losing lots of jobs. The jobs we are creating pay less than the ones that are dissappearing. I think are children are going to be living in an America that much more closely resembles Mexico. Mexico is improving and we are getting worse and before long we will be one big happy happy global slum.

Well, I have a theory that many consider tinfoil hat. I figure the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. His daddy worked in favor of a "new world order", meaning a world government. A workable world government would have to preside over regions. I think Bush may be one of many trying to consolidate Canada, the US, Mexico and South America into a world region.

Trade being essential to any political division, and world trade requiring world governance, and "irreversible" world trade naturally giving way to the same governance in other arenas; and, mixing the populations of the former countries that would make up this region being a natural consequence of the regional model, it's evident to me that the trade and immigration situation is harbinger of the "new world order".

Dear God.... This is scary. And I hope they catch them. They certainly seem to have enough information to try. But in this Socialist state, will they even try? Have they activated the Border Control Points within the State? I think not. *feh* And is the data old, do we have a chance of it being reliable.

It appears to be happening now. Hopefully there will be a period of time when a couple big steps will have to be taken instead of baby steps, where it's appropriate to lock and load.

Form letter to mail to your Senators:

Dear Senator______,

I wanted to write you to let you know that I am most concerned about the national security risk caused by complete lack of control of our borders. I am demending that you close the borders. Let me put say that in another way that might make it clearer: CLOSE THE BORDERS! Or perhaps it will make more sense this way: CLOSE THE F**KING BORDERS!

Thank you and remember: if the borders aren't closed by the time you are up for reelection, I'm voting Democrat...at least they had out free tubes of lube and they tell us ahead of time that they are going to screw us.

I. M. Pisdoff
