Frankly, these two need a new act!
Forehead and bowlhead.
Can't think of 3 people whose opinions interest me less - Carville, Begala and, maybe most of all, O'Reilly.
CARVILLE: ... the Democrats, and most Americans believe that America is stronger, it fights terror better, when it cooperates with other countries as opposed to acting unilaterally as this administration has done.
Lesson: America must involve other nations in this fight.
Point 2:
PAUL BEGALA, CO-AUTHOR, "TAKE IT BACK": You know what else he said, in fact? In the book, we call it John Kerry's finest hour. He went right at President Bush for wimping out at Tora Bora. We had bin Laden, this murderous animal, cornered at Tora Bora. We had the 10th Mountain Division, the most legendary mountain fighters in the world, and Bush wimped out. And Kerry called him on it.
Lesson: Our big mistake is involving other nations. If we just did this all by ourselves, we'd be better off.
Thank Gosh BO'R is normal
Hello llev,
After seeing BOR on the Today show, he can KMA.
Carville and Begala are right that their party needs a makeover. However, the crap they came up with was "hate Bush" and a bunch of other stuff that was quite unbelieveable, like "democrats are strong on defense". They have they answers in teh DLC, but their party is too out of touch to recognize it right now.
No fresh ideas, no new plans, just complaining.
I saw this, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a news analysis program.
"We had the 10th Mountain Division, the most legendary mountain fighters in the world, and Bush wimped out. And Kerry called him on it."
The "Mountain" of the 10th is purely honorific title commemorating the WW II division of that name. The division doesn't do any more mountain training than any other light infantry unit.
I think it would be fair to classify the most legendary mountain fighters in the world as perhaps the Swiss army or the mountain troops of the Bundeswehr.
Begala lied.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Thanks for the ping!
The indident at Tora Bora was about accepting a cease-fire. We agreed to their plea for a cease-fire, which turned out to be a ploy for time to get bin Laden away.
What would the world have said if the United States refused terms for a cease-fire? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
