My son Jimmy passed away this afternoon, about two weeks shy of his fourth birthday. He had been fighting severe epilepsy for over two years and he lost his battle today.
When he has been in the hospital before, my dear friends here on Free Republic have been more than generous with warm thoughts and prayers. For that, you all have my sincere thanks.
Our hearts are heavy for our friend, and we do not understand; yet we trust in You and in Your everlasting love. We see this precious child at peace in Your arms, with no more struggles---only everlasting love surrounding him. Comfort his grieving parents and whisper Your words of reassurance and peace to them. Help them to rest in the knowledge that they will see their son again when trouble and sorrows will be no more. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss as well....I lost my mom a year ago today...my condolences on your loss...
You will all be together again one day.

I'm glad you had the time with him you had and I'm praying for you and yours.
I wish I knew some special words to take away any pain or sadness you feel, but I don't. SO I will pray and think of your son tearing around God's playground, happy and free.
