I figured as much - even though I did call his office to press my support for Alito.

Teddy had better calm down; he's getting way too lathered up.
I think Leahy gave him some of his time so that he could get his ranting over with before lunch (hic!).

Apparently Judge Alito is the sole cause for the downfall of the entire western civilization. Who knew?

Thanks, I'm at work and can't watch, so this thread is my lifeline.
Not to belabor the obvious, but Orca's just an idiot.
There, I said it. Gak.

I wonder what keeps him from having a stroke? Must be all that alcohol keeps his blood thinned.

I get the feeling old Orca is voting against? Ya think?!?

Kennedy has run the gammet. Alito is going to be in the pocket of the repubs. Will roll back 1964 civil rights acts. Hates poor people, minorities, and people of no standing. Will not PROTECT individual rights. Has done a lousy job in his current position yada yada yada.....

So kennedy just now says that he learned in high school that there were two branches of government "house and senate" and that they pass a law and the president signs it.Didn't he go to Groton or some such? Either he deserves a refund, or the school should sue for defamation.

I mean the guy doesn't even look up anymore. He just stands there and reads from the special interest groups.

I would like to have a count of the number of words that are on each page he reads. I have an idea that his vision is really poor, along with his many other infirmities.
